The madness began to consume Violet Sawyer, there was nothing she could do to prevent it. At first, insanity came to her like the moment before a dream: there, but not really.
As it progressed, her mind became a flurry of things she did not understand and things that weren't there. Despite this, the one thing that remained was the image of the people she killed, their blood painted across her face and the smile she wore.
Although Violet hadn't been the same since she met Jerome Valeska, there was no one to blame for her apparent insanity except the chemistry of her brain.
