My Own Retribution

The angel's power had killed me, however, when power is absorbed you need to be able to overtake the host. In this case, he wasn't able to. I stole the angel's power and took it for myself. I know it's wrong but I need to save her. I will get my own retribution and I will save her from the devil and escape hell. The Marshall is dead. But his power resides in me, I will save her, and break her deal. I say hers because I am no longer under those bounds after dying. Pretty smart right? I mean yeah the angels will hunt me down and so will every demon in hell but it will be worth it. I know it's wrong to go against everything but I'm after love this time, I'm after something that everyone chases. She sold her soul to be with me even after barely knowing me. So I will fight hell and the devil to prove that I love her back. 

Once I got the angels power I was able to break out of the cage and chase after the devil to try and find her, I can't tell you how many demons I had to go through. It was a neverending army, but I need to make it through. I had underestimated my powers, but now I knew that my powers could make it through hell and save her. 

I can't even describe how bad of shape she was in when I found her, she had been returned to her body and killed over and over, she was in so much pain. Begging to just be killed so it would end. 

I approached her body and gently touched her, I kissed her lips and told her that she would be okay, she had a look in her eyes like she had seen a ghost. she had said that she seen me killed in front of her over and over. I took her from the bindings and told her that we were going to get out of here soon. I carried her as I walked towards the exit, I used my powers to kill every demon we came across. I started to question why the devil hadn't shown his face yet. Then we stood at the gates of hell, I threw her out into the world so she could escape as the devil finally showed up. I hit him with everything I could and it hardly made a dent, then he hit me, I fell and knew I should retreat. So I ran through the gate and grabbed her and started running. I am going to need more power to finally be able to kill the devil, even though heaven and hell are both after me now. At least she is safe.
