It was in the middle of the night when Maek Jong woke up from his slumber. He looked over to his side and saw Su-Jin sleeping, still with her face mask on, only showing her eyes. (a/n: the mask of su-jin is like the one hyungsik has in the drama)
Is she asleep?, he asked himself.
He kept staring at her, and before he knew it he brought up his hand over to the edge of her mask. He slowly tried to pull her mask off, but ended up waking the princess instead.
Her eyes shot open,
"What are you doing?", she asked as she pulled up her mask again.
He gulped before answering, "Um...well, you look like you were suffering from the heat so I thought I would pull your mask off so your face could get some fresh air and...yeah...", he lied.
She looked at him in the eyes, "It's okay ...I'm...uh...fine"
"You sure?", he asked her.
"Yes. But...um...thank you for your concern", she said before turning her back to him and continued to sleep. Maek Jong however, was not able to sleep right away; for his mind was clouded with questions.
Her eyes are pretty...I wonder about the rest of her face?
Her voice is also pretty...and her hair...
She's also pretty tall for a girl...
Her dress is cut...I wonder why? Did she do that?
Wait- she said something about marrying someone...who could that be?
How does her smile look like?
Wait...
Why do I want to see her face so badly, anyway?
He pushed away these thoughts for the night and decided to sleep. He leaned his head onto the tree bark once again and tried to go back to sleep with one final thought;
I guess I'll find out tomorrow...I'll see her face and I'll make her smile...

I wrote this part at like...4 in the morning bc I woke up and couldn't sleep and I was like, 'hey I can't be the only one awake', so I decided to wake Sam Maek Jong up.

Anyway, sorry for the short chapter, but I guess you understand bc it was literally 4 in the morning. And then I couldn't publish it at the same time bc I was hiding from my parents who were awake and were about to go to tagaytay. They wanted to bring me with them but I said no, making my menstruation my excuse. That's all, thanks!
