"...hello, Ah-ro"

Ah-ro's eyes widened as she saw the figure in front of her.
"P-princess Su-Jin?", she stuttered.
Su-Jin hopped off her horse and opened her arms.
"Who else?"
"Omo, I thought you would not arrive! I worried about you!", Ah-ro exclaimed.
"Ah-ro, is she the...you know...one?", Soo-Yeon asked.
Su-Jin then turned her head to look at Soo-Yeon who was beside Sungmi behind Ah-ro.
"Who are they?", she asked.
Ah-ro looked behind her and saw the two friends she completely forgot about.
"Ah, these are my friends, Soo-Yeon and Sungmi.", Ah-ro explained.
"Hello!", Soo-Yeon and Sungmi bowed.
Ah-ro turned back to face Su-Jin, but this time, she saw someone behind her.
"What about that? Who is that?", she asked as she pointed at Maek Jong.
"Oh, how come you do not know him? He is Jin-"
"Hello, I am Sam Maek Jong. I am sorry to interrupt your conversation, but me and Su-Jin need to find someone. I am sure Su-Jin will be back here to talk some more soon, but for now, we need to go.", Maek Jong cut her off.
Ah-ro nodded slowly, "Ah, very well then, I shall see you soon, princess!", she bowed.
Su-Jin hesitantly nodded and got on her horse. She looked at Maek Jong and they went off.

"Why did you cut me off? We were talking!", Su-Jin asked. They were inside their hotel room, sitting down and eating.
"Do not tell them my real name. They cannot know who I am.", he said quietly.
"How come? You are their king, should they not know that their king is among them?", she stated with the same tone of voice Maek Jong used.
"They have not seen me in years. They cannot know who I am. There might be assasins."
"What do you mean, 'they have not seen you in years'?", she asked, clearly confused.
He sighed as he closed his eyes.
"My...mother..."
Su-Jin, as much as she wanted to interupt him and nag him to talk faster, stayed quiet out of politeness and hummed, signaling him to go on.
"My mother kicked me out of Silla..."
"She what?", Su-Jin exclaimed, raising her voice.
Su-Jin's face was filled with confusion and surprise while Maek Jong wore a face with no feelings.
"I said, she kicked me out. She kicked me out of Silla when I was a little kid, so I was forced to wander and live with a guardian. He was to protect me and keep me company.", he went on.
"Guardian? When I met you you were alone with your horse. Was your horse the guardian? I do not really understand how a horse can fight for you, but I do get that it can keep you company."
"I was with a guardian, but I sent him back to Silla the day before we met. He is to wait for me here. I shall go and meet him, while you can go to the palace and introduce yourself."
"Introduce myself? What am I to say?", she asked.
"Your name, where you came from, you know, the basics", he shrugged.
Wow, thank you so much, she rolled her eyes in her thoughts.
"Do not worry, all this will happen tomorrow, we need to rest.", he said.
Su-Jin only nodded as she lied down on her bed. They have been travelling all night, they deserved some rest.
