A few hours have passed and Su-Jin and Maek Jong were still travelling in the open land.
"Hey,", Su-Jin started.
"What?"
"Is this the last place we'll be going through before entering Silla?", she asked.
"Yes.", he replied.
"Oh..."
Both were awkward; Su-Jin was almost certain that they were thinking the same thing; They were getting married...to each other.
This is so awkward..., Su-Jin thought to herself.
All of a sudden, Maek Jong stopped and got off his horse.
"Uh, what are you doing?", she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Taking a break.", he said casually as he sat down.
"In the middle of nowhere?"
"Yeah?"
"You're literally stopping in the middle of an open land with nothing like trees to hide you..."
"I guess so..."
"Wow", she said sarcastically as she hopped off her horse.
"You see I'm not your average king", Maek Jong smirked.
"Well I'm not your average princess.", Su-Jin smirked back.
"I know that."
Su-Jin looked at Maek Jong with a confused expression.
"Huh?", she asked.
"I know that you're not just any princess, Su-Jin."
"Wha-"
"Oh, by the way, what's your last name?", he asked out of the blue.
"Park. Why?"
"Oh~", Maek Jong slowly nodded, "You'll have a high position in Silla with that last name. You'll become powerful even if we don't announce that you are my girlfriend- "
"Wait, what? Girlfriend?"
"Well, yes-"
"Who said I was your girlfriend?"
"You're marrying me right? So-"
"Well, excuse you, I'm not marrying you until you court me properly! No one just marries someone who didn't court them!", she stated.
(a/n: i'm litetally just making everything up as i write lol wish me luck)
"But that's not important right now, how can you say that I am to have a high position in Silla with my last name?"
"You see, Silla originally belonged to the Parks, almost everyone in Silla with 'Park' as their last name is well-known and powerful.", he explained.
"Really?", she asked, intrigued.
"Yes", he answered.
"Well, I think that's enough rest for now, dawn is breaking, we should get going."
With that, Maek Jong stood up and got on his horse, Su-Jin did the same. They then started to continue their journey.
well that was random...i just made this up as i wrote, no plan or anything. but here's a plan! i'm gonna be writing 'memories', the x reader with jun! i did my appropriate (legal) stalking and gathered enough ideas and bits, now just the book! i think i might complete the book first before publishing, but we'll see!
