As Su-Jin and Maek Jong exited the forest, they were greeted by the stars shining brightly up in the sky, together with the moon illuminating the night.
Both of them stopped first as Su-Jin looked up closed her eyes.
Not long after, she opened them again and smiled to herself.
Little did she know that Maek Jong was observing her, unable to tear his gaze of the princess' face that was being illuminated by the different celestial bodies that were shining in the night sky.
There is something with her and the night..., he observed. He had a feeling that there was more to it than just 'relaxing and peaceful'; he had a feeling that the night made her remember something, he had a feeling it made her feel something. Something that he didn't know yet.
"You know, we won't get anywhere if you will just enjoy the night.", he said.
Su-Jin turned to look at Maek Jong and glared at him.
Whatever, if only you knew..., she scoffed in her head. For now, she put those thoughts away and rolled her eyes.
"Fine let's go.", she hissed as she rode away.
Maek Jong let out a small chuckle and rode after Su-Jin. They were in an open land; no trees, villages, animals or anything. Just them and their horses.
Su-Jin kept her eyes on the land while Maek Jong couldn't resist to sneak short glances towards her.
