cam;
my eyes flutter open.
instantly, i'm blinded by bright lights.what?
terrible memories flood back into my helpless, fragile little brain.
i remember.i open my eyes once again.
after squinting and adjusting to the brightness, i take a look around me.however, it's nearly impossible to move because for some reason i'm securely fastened to this rusty old chair.
staring straight forward, i can see a very limited amount of my surroundings.
i seem to be in a large room with lights (bright as hell may i mention) glaring at me from all directions.the rest of the room is pitch black.
i can't see nor hear anything, except for the lights that are blinding me by the second."hey! someone tell me why i'm here!" i shout out anxiously.
a soft chuckle comes from behind me, before i'm yanked backwards.my chair is turned around to face a tall man with a knowing grin.
his eyes are jet black, soulless.
his facial features hold a level of complex intensity, making me absolutely horrified.
he wears a formal gray suit and tie, with black dress shoes that must've cost a fortune.i don't realize i look a bit weird checking him out, until he clears his throat, drawing my attention back to his face.
"cameron alexander dallas, what a pleasure to meet you." he speaks for the first time, his voice menacing and low.
"wh-wh-who are you?" my voice trembles with fear, unable to hide the high amount of anxiety i'm experiencing at the moment.
"where are my manners? i will introduce myself. i am james cash, head of the Celebrity Assassination Group, also known as CAG." he replies.
"wh-what are you going to do?" i ask, tears filling up my eyes.
"well. what do you think?" he asks, rolling his eyes as if the answer were obvious.
"i-i-don't know..." i trail off, my vision becoming blurry with all of my useless weeping.
"celebrity. ASSASSINATION. group." he says loudly as if i'm stupid, which scares me to death.
soon i'll be dead.
where's maeve?
where is my family? are they worried?
where is everyone that i've ever loved?"the time is ticking cameron. i'll be back.. to watch them end you." he says sinisterly, walking away.
"WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!" i scream at him, stopping him in his tracks.
he slowly turns around to face me once again, holding the same threatening facial expression.
"because i deeply despise you." he starts, walking towards me.
"all your videos, vines, photos. you don't know how much i hate you. you're an attention seeker cameron, always have been, always will be. your stupidity has drilled a hole into my brain. i want to KILL you. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!" he screams, calming down instantly after. smoothing down his suit and tie & clearing his throat.he turns back around, walking away into the darkness as if nothing had happened.
"cam."
what?
"cam."
soft whispers fill my ears as the voice gets closer, and closer, and closer...
"cam. can you hear me?"
it comes from behind. but i'm too tied down to turn around and see who's calling me.
two cold hands place down on my shoulders, making me jump."who are you?" i whisper harshly, not liking this confusing situation one bit.
"it's me, maeve. and i'm here to get you out of this hellhole." she replies softly, beginning to untie my ropes.
a huge smile appears on my face.
she was here to rescue me.
and more importantly,
she's not dead.
