Warnings: swearing, punching,
Summary: The reader is no longer bedridden a week later, but you are beyond hungry. You head to the kitchen and nearly consume everything in sight, only stopping yourself for the sake of not putting everything back up later.
-----------------
You slowly woke up- your body feeling sore and weak. You slowly stretched out your legs, and then your arms, eyes widening at the dry blood caked in your fingernails and around your fingers. You sat up and looked yourself over. Nothing on the front- but when you carefully patted down your back you flinched as hissed softly. You had eight marks in both of your shoulders, from what you assumed where your nails, and you felt that they weren't simple crescent moons, but more like you had dug in and pulled.
The thought made you shudder and you slowly moved out of bed, intending on heading to your bathroom when your bedroom door was opened. You looked over at the doorway, freezing as Sam stared at you.
"Thank god- we were worried the cure didn't work." He said, and you paused, eyebrows furrowing slightly.
"You see- I'm a gentle feeder. I make sure my food is always comfortable, and if they are here long enough I make sure they get whatever they want." She said, her hand removing from your hip to grab her other arm, her fingers wrapping around her forearms. Your eyes darted downwards and you watched as the pointer nail on her left hand carved into her right arm.
You groaned slightly, a hand coming up and resting against your temple. Of course, that girl had turned you into a vampire. Sam entered and sat on the bed beside you, gently resting a hand on the mid of your back.
"You okay?" He asked softly, and you weakly nod.
"Yea, I need a shower, and I need a lot of food." You said, and he nodded, helping you stand and make your way over to the bathroom. "Thanks." You said, entering and closing the door. You turned the shower on so the water could warm up and began stripping, taking your time seeing as your muscles cried out in protest at your actions. By the time you got in the shower you felt like your stomach was eating itself, and you hurried your actions a little bit, desperate to get some food in your mouth.
You dried off quickly and threw on a change of clothes, tugging on your socks as you hopped to the kitchen. You entered and Dean looked up at you, holding up one of his hamburgers on a plate with fries. Your mouth watered and you walked forward, kissing his cheek before grabbing the plate. You weren't even sitting down all the way before you took your first bite, nearly dissolving into tears at the wonderful taste on your tongue.
"I will never, ever taking your cooking for granted again." You said, and Dean chuckled as you continued to eat. When you finished the burger Sam entered, sitting at the table across from you, nodding as he sipped at his coffee. You washed the burger down with water, looking between the boys.
"Is- Is Gadreel okay?" You asked softly, and they both looked over at you like you lost your marbles. Dean raised his eyebrows and you narrowed your eyes at him in a glare.
"Yes, if you're asking if you harmed him, the answer is no. He's fine." Sam said, you looked over at him, nodding slightly. You picked away at your fries, looking over at Dean.
"Another hamburger?" You asked sweetly, and he let out a soft sigh before nodding, beginning to cook you up a second one. By the time you had finished the fries the burger was ready and he placed it on you plate, patting the top of your head as you dug in.
Three hamburgers later and you had to stop- else you thought you would explode, or eat everything in the kitchen. You had no idea which one came first. You slowly stood, placing your plate in the sink and giving Dean a hug along with Sam, thanking them softly. Sam lead you to the library, and sat you down in a chair, Dean following in after him.
"We found a case to work on... if you think you're ready we would like for you to join us." Sam said, and you but your bottom lip. You really wanted to visit Gadreel to see if he was okay.
"Course, we have some other hunters on that as well, so we can just all sit and relax." Dean said, and you nodded right away to that.
"Yea, I don't want to go on a hunt just yet." You said, and they both nodded in understanding.
"Alright, well i'm going to go entertain myself." Dean said, walking out of the room, you waited before standing yourself, some excuse about wanting to relax in your room, and left as well. You headed towards Gadreel, fully intending on apologizing for putting him in danger and letting him know that you were okay- when you heard it.
The sound of skin on skin. Your heart lurched into your throat and you swallowed thickly, torn between picking up your pace and slowing it down. You rounded the corner and saw the door to his room open, and you heard the punch again.
"What did you do to her?" Dean snapped, and your eyebrows furrowed as you stood beside the doorway, out of sight of the duo. There was another sickening smack and you flinched, eyes closing as you turned your head away.
"What do you mean?" Gadreel responded, and Dean growled at him.
"You know exactly what I mean! She's worried about you when she should be worried about herself! What did you do to her?" Dean spat, and you slid down the wall, tears building in your eyes as guilt began to gnaw away at you. When Gadreel didn't respond you heard Dean's fist strike him again, and your cheek throbbed once in pain. You covered your mouth and closed your eyes even tighter, the tears slipping down your cheeks quietly.
"I didn't do anything- she is human. She does have her own choices." Gadreel responded. "That is what brought me back this time around. Very much like Castiel I hold a fascination for mankind." You tucked your face into your knees, yours cries going unnoticed by the boys inside. By the time Dean was done punching away at Gadreel, you were still outside softly crying, everything around you having blurred together as you muffled your tears and pain.
"Shit." Dean simply whispered as he stared down at you- standing in the middle of the doorway as he looked upon you. Your head snapped up and you pushed yourself to your feet, hands curling into fists as you took a step forward, forcing him back into the room.
"Why- why do you think, that my priorities are screwed?" You choked out, jabbing your finger into his chest. He gently grabbed your wrists and turned to the side, beginning to lead you out of the room. You let out a weak cry, ripping your hand out of his grip. What came next surprised even you- and made you feel worse than you already were.
Your fist landed against Dean's cheek- causing Dean to stumble back and hold onto the door to hold him up, one hand cradling his cheek as he stared at you with wide eyes. You froze, breathing heavily as tears continued to stream down your cheeks, your brows furrowing as you took half a step back, your hands beginning to shake.
"I-I'm sorry." You weakly whispered, an arm wrapping around your stomach before you were gone from the room, racing off towards yours as you quietly cried harder. You had punched Dean- and for what? What was the real reason you had punched Dean, had cried outside Gadreel's room as he was beaten bloody for a crime he didn't commit?
You landed on your bed and buried your face in your pillow, your soft cries now full blown sobs. Why in the hell did you even go when you figured dean would be there in the first place?
