Summary: For the next few days everything is normal, ish. Dean seems to have stopped beating on Gadreel for now, and the Reader continues her visits to him once in awhile- meanwhile falling deeper and deeper in love. Sam pulls up a case in her hometown- Wendigos- and the Reader jumps on the case.

You left Gadreels room and headed to the warm room- the boys voices- Castiel included- floating in and around the halls. You entered the war room and moved over to the library- grabbing a beer before heading back into the war room. The boys were actively discussing about Wendigos and I sat down on the table- legs swinging as I watched them like a tennis match. When there was a lull I interrupted.

"Why are you talking about Wendigos?" I asked and Sam looked to me.

"A case popped up- in Springfield Missouri- your hometown." He said and my eyebrows shot up as I took a long drag of beer.

"Then what's the hold up? Let's go kill this wendigo and see my brother- yea?" I said, smiling lopsidedly.

"Sure- I guess." Dean said and I nodded, sliding off the table.

"I'm gonna go prepare- see you boys at the impala in an hour." I said before leaving the room- sipping at my beer along the way. I passed by Gadreel's hall before backpedaling. Might as well keep him up to date too. I entered is room and he smiled but raised an eyebrow.

"Back already? That's quick." He said and you chuckled.

"There's a case in Missouri- about... a few days away from here. My hometown- we're gonna kill some wendigo and see my brother. Just thought I'd give you a heads up." You said- and he nodded.

"Be safe- please. I would like to hear about your case when you get back." He said- and You smiled warmly.

"Sure- just for you." You teased- adding on a wink. "I got to go get ready- see you later Gadreel." You said, before pausing and glancing to your beer. "Actually- I'm curious. Wanna try this beer? I'm curious to see what you'd taste." Probably molecules but whatever- that wasn't the point. He raised an eyebrow but I was already moving forward- right before my toe scuffed the ground and I tripped- nearly falling onto Gadreel. He managed to put his hands up in time to catch me- helping me stand back up and looking to the beer.

"Maybe you should not drink anymore- it seems to have messed with your brain and has made you tipsy." He said and I chuckled- rolling my eyes before raising an eyebrow as my question. Gosh- being this close to him made me feel alive. "No- I will pass. I would taste nothing but molecules anyways." He said- and I chuckled, taking a step back before turning and beginning to leave.

"Fine- goodbye Gadreel. See you soon hopefully." I cooed before closing the door- the smile on my face falling as I moved back to my bedroom. Hopefully he'd realize- and he'd get the hell out of there.

The impala pulled to a stop and I flew out of the car- flying up the front yard and the porch steps before pausing at the door- catching my breath before knocking. There was a few moments of quiet and then the door opened- revealing a well dressed man. He wore a light blue button down shirt- sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Dark grey dress pants rested over shiny dress shoes- overall though he looked a little worn down. He had a smooth scruff over his currently confused face- his olive green eyes searching you over.

You patiently waited, rolling back and forth on your feet as you took your chance to look at him. He's changed since you've last seen him- and clearly has gotten out of the life. Not that he was ever really in it in the first place. The recognition passed through his eyes and a wide smile split his face- right before you were pulled in for a bear hug. Damn- he had gotten stronger too.
