He was tensed

That little voice in my head danced into whispers and echoes around my mind. I never knew that this little 17 year old, grey eyed, ruffled hair boy was the same Zach Rondell who went missing a few months back.
Once again silence took over as words from the only people in the room surrendered to it. Fear came to greet me when I saw a peek of Zach's face. It was covered in hate, regret and somewhat fear. But I dare not to show my sign of fear, thinking that would make him furious.
I finally gained enough courage and curiosity to get some answers. "Zach what happened to  you?!" I started not meaning for it come out so harsh, but can you really blame me? I needed answers and I waited too long.

I'm sorry

Zach clenched his fist and hung his head not saying a word to the endless unanswered questions that spilled from my mouth. "Why won't you answer me?! I need to know what happened!" Up to this point I couldn't see his eyes since his ruffled hair blocked them. He was starting to piss me off by not saying a word, choosing to hang his head like a wuss.

I don't mean this where is this coming from?

I slammed my fist on the table that I was still on to at least get a reaction. "Why won't you answer me damn it!?" I finally got a reaction but not the one I was expecting. I felt a sharp breeze wizz past my cheek until I heard a small tud as if something was stuck in something soft yet hard.
Before I could turn my head to see what it was, I was pulled by the front of my shirt. "Don't you understand when a person doesn't want to be reminded of something?" Zach questioned, his voice a husky deep tone that sounded almost threaten. I was too afraid to even move a muscle since he still held me in place choking me a bit.

"You don't give two shits about me don't you?" The fact I can hardly see his eyes calmed me a bit...only a bit, he was only giving me a death glare and the fact I was close as it was I'd probably get a heart attack. "To afraid to answer-"

"I do" I instantly regretted I cut him off but yet again my words had a drop of amusement. He only chuckled for a brief moment which increased my fear more.

"Oh really?" He released me from his hold, but only to catch a lot of breath. Why am I breathing so hard? He wasn't choking me that hard...right?
"When I see it I'll believe it." Taking a night green school bag with black stripes running along it, Zach placed the med-kit in the bag along with some items worth scavenging for in his newly owned bag. I was still completely dumbfounded after how threatening he looked before compared to now. His face was a little more relaxed when he took a deep breath or two and ran his hand through his hair.

Reminds me of a damn gorilla on its-

"Instead of standing there waiting to be eaten I'm giving you an item." I instantly remembered the thing that brush passed me earlier. When I finally located the spot I heard the noise...I found a hunter's knife. I gulped down the lump which appeared in my throat as I grabbed it from a weird looking board. Like I guessed earlier it really was soft to the touch but hard to the eye.
"Come on! Unless you want that beast to find you." I groaned a little and walked to the door following Zach's direction.
