I groaned softly and sat up. Somehow, I was on the couch of the living room, my head was pounding, and my vision was off. I don't even remember how I got on the couch or why my head was throbbing. There was a slight uneasy feeling in my heart that something happened but I couldn't figure out what it could've been. Slowly, I got up and headed to the kitchen to get a blood bag. I bit down on the bag and poured it into the cup. As I drank, I realized that I was alone. I set the glass down and walk upstairs to Jazlyn and my bedroom. She wasn't there.

"Jazlyn?" I called out. "Liam? Angelina? Louis? Zayn? Niall? Anybody?" I looked in the workout room, rooftop, and all the bedrooms. Where did everyone go? I thought to myself. The door slammed open as I saw the others walk inside with panic. My eyes widened when I saw Niall carrying in Angelina with a stake through her heart and a gash on her neck.

"Set her down on the couch," Liam instructed. "Zayn, make sure all the doors are locked. Louis, lower the blinds and close the curtains."

"What happened?" I asked them. Neither of them paid attention to me. "Liam, what happened? Damn it, someone answer me!"

Niall lowered Angelina's body down and removed the stake. In seconds, Angelina gasped out and took long ragged breaths. Liam gave her a cup of blood to heal the gash on her neck quicker, which she drank quickly. She sat up swiftly and frantically started to get up.

Niall tried pushing her down, "No, stay down, Angelina."

"Where is he?!" she demanded, trying to fight away from Niall's grasp. "Where is he?!"

"He's gone. He got away."

Angelina looked around the room. "Wait, where is she? Where's she, Niall?"

"He took her."

"What?!" Angelina and I shouted in unison.

"What is going on? Who are you talking about? Where's Jazlyn?" I demanded.

"She gave herself up to save you," Niall answered Angelina, ignoring me. "He had a knife to your throat when you were staked. She didn't want you to die."

Angelina kicked the coffee table, making it slide against the couch opposite from them. "Why would she do something so stupid?" she screeched, standing up and pacing. "She doesn't know who she's dealing with!"

Having enough of this, I gripped Angelina by the shoulders, shoved her against the wall, and bellowed, "Tell me what the hell happened! What happened? Tell me right now!"

She shoved my hands off her. "Oh, now you care?"

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"You made her walk out of the penthouse! You drank your ass off and you shouted at her! You told her to leave and that you didn't want to have anything to do with her! Now, thanks to you, while I was getting her to come back we were attacked by him! Thanks to you, I got staked and he kidnapped her!"

I stumbled back. It explained why my head was throbbing. "No, I would've tried going after her. I wouldn't let her leave...I couldn't let her leave."

"You were going to but you hit your head and you blacked out," Liam said. "We put you on the couch and when Angelina got in contact with us, we didn't bother waking you up."

"Why not?" I ran my hands through my hair roughly. "I could've helped! If you woke me up, she might be here right now!"

Angelina scoffed, "Please, you'd be stumbling around with a headache. Don't blame any of us for what happened."

"Like you did such a good job?" I shot back at her. "You're the one who got staked and made her give herself up! What happened to you being all superior and mighty? You were talking about how much of a strong fighter you were! Isn't this the second time you lost to that thing?"
