"No!" I slammed my fists against the elevator door. Angelina ran towards one of the strong vampires, kicked, and tackled him towards the window. The window smashed open as the vampire fell down the Eiffel Tower.
She grabbed my arm and shoved me towards the window. "Climb, I'll tell you what floor and I'll try getting up there as soon as I can."
I looked down and felt sick. I stepped away. "Come with me."
"Don't be a coward! Face your fear for Jazlyn! You're running out of time!"
"It's not just the heights! I need you to help me!"
"I have to help the others! They're in need of my help more than you, Harry."
I glanced around and realized that we were losing. Angelina was the strongest fighter and with her help, my family could come out alive. I nodded and started to climb the tower. The wind was strong, but it didn't affect me.
Angelina shouted, "The very top! The top floor is gated! Go underneath the floor when you get up there! There will be a hatch to the floor inside the store!"
I quickly climbed and did what Angelina told me to do. I slammed opened the hatch and stepped inside. The hatch led me to a bar that was filled with different types of champagne. I ducked down and saw Jazlyn fighting off Jacob as best as she could. Some sections of hair were sliding from her bun and her dress was tampered with. I could feel her being worn out and that she was in pain.
"Why do you insist on fighting me?" Jacob questioned her. "You already know that I'm going to win."
She slapped him across the face and tried cutting off his head, but missed and slit his cheek deeply. Jacob punched her squarely in the face and made her fall into the bar. She noticed me and I quickly gestured her to come over to me. She slid over and hid behind me. Her face was bruised and there was a cut on her cheek and at the hairline of her forehead. I kissed her quietly, assuring her that everything will be alright.
"Jazlyn?" Jacob called out. "Baby, where did you go?"
My jaw clenched at the sound of him calling her my nickname that I gave Jazlyn. Quietly, I stood up and approached Jacob as he was facing away from me.
"Marco," Jacob smirked.
I grabbed him by the neck and threw him against one of the shelves of champagne. "Polo," I growled at him.
Jacob sighed, "Oh, you're still alive."
"You bet your ass I am," I grabbed a champagne bottle near me and slammed it against Jacob's head, making him fall back. "I fucking had it up to here with you and your bullshit!"
I grabbed two champagne bottles and bashed them both on the sides of Jacob's head. Jacob chuckled breathlessly, "Oh, come on, Harry, I'm only have a little bit of fun."
"Fun?! Stalking my girlfriend, torturing her, and kidnapping her are fun to you?" I shoved my fists against his face a few good times. "You're a sick, twisted, monster! You should really learn not to mess with something that's not yours and stay the hell out of people's business!" I kneed him in the stomach and uppercut him in the jaw.
Jacob groaned as he was on the floor. I gestured Jazlyn to toss me her knife. She threw it towards me and I caught it easily. Jacob groaned again as I swung another bottle at him. He dropped to the ground and moaned in the agony.
"You don't deserve to live any more than that brother of yours did," I muttered as I raised the knife to cut Jacob's head off.
Suddenly, Jacob was on his feet. He jabbed in the face hard and grabbed the knife. He stabbed the knife in my stomach, heart, and left it on the shoulder. Due to the engravings of the incantation, I felt my body going weak and my body aching with a sense of a burning feeling. I tried with all my might to remove the blade, but my strength was deteriorating by just attempting to lift my arm up.
