Gaby woke up with a splitting headache. She looked around the room, which was continuously swirling and make her feel sick. She lay back down in the safety of the sheets and pillow. In doing so, she realized Solo was lighting a cigarette next to her.

She groaned. "Do you have to do that here?"

"What?" Solo shrugged his shoulders and took a long drag of smoke. "It helps with the pain." He beckoned for Gaby to take one, but she shook her head.

Gaby noticed his left eyebrow was stitched up and the side of his lip was crusted with blood. "What happened?"

Solo scrunched his face up and tilted his head back. "Peril bugged the room last night, and when we hugged to get warm, he thought we were..."

"What?" Gaby suddenly jumped up from the bed. She tipped forward dizzily as she tried to get out from beneath the covers. "But there was nothing..."

"I tried telling him that in between getting my ass kicked." Solo put down the cigarette on the bedside table and ruffled his hair. "He knocked you up pretty bad."

Gaby's jaw opened in disbelief. "He hit me?"

"No, it was an accident," Solo shook his head. "He was planning on the punch being for me but you got in his way at the wrong second. I'm pretty sure he was crying, poor guy."

"Poor guy?" Gaby interrupted.

Solo got up from the side of the bed and walked over to the couch to finish smoking. "Gaby, you can help think that what he was thinking did sound... like..."

Gaby put her face in her hands. "Oh God, it did sound bad..." She remembered what had happened last night. In innocent embrace and an attempt to keep warm would've sounded awful if you were just listening to it through a device. "I owe him an explanation." She was about to walk over to his room when Solo stopped her midway through the room.

"We've got to remember why we're here." Solo reminded her. "We made enough noise. It's unprofessional..."

"But Illya..."

"He's not there. I already checked. He's probably already left to see the Kosygin's as part of the mission." Solo rested a hand on her shoulder. "That's something we should probably do."

Gaby bit her lip and nodded. "I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault. You'll explain everything to him this evening." Solo went into the bathroom. "Now, get dressed and put your wife face on. We're leaving in half an hour."
