"Excuse me?"
Solo and Illya turned around to see Alexei Kosygin still crouched behind the bars.
"Are they gone?"
Solo smiled. "I nearly forgot about him."
"You're not the only one." Illya rolled his eyes and grabbed the bunch of keys from the dead henchman's belt. "I'll do the honours."
"Be my guest."
The rest of the padlocks were stiffly opened and Kosygin slowly tiptoed out of the test, still pale with horror. He looked deathly, and when he saw the dead man on the floor, he yelped loudly and stepped back.
"Where are we going?"
"We're taking you home, Mr Kosygin." Solo raised his eyebrows at Illya. They both tried to contain their laughter as Kosygin sheepishly walked through the hallway. "Your daughter should be waiting for your outside."
"Is my wife OK?"
"We have conformation she's still safe in Vladivostok, sir. You'll be reunited with her too."
Kosygin stopped and turned to face the two spies. "Thank you." He smiled slightly, but they could still tell he was terrified. "For everything."
"It's our job, Mr Kosygin."
"I still think a thank you is in order though."
