Change of POV’s.

I almost jumped in my seat from surprise when I saw Devin stand. His knees were looking wobbly, and his voice was hitching, yet when he got permission from the teacher, he practically power-walked out of the classroom, leaving only the scent of cocoa in the air. I have never seen someone who smelled like chocolate, but I was most definitely getting addicted to that unusual phenomenon. It even suits him, I smiled softly to myself, remembering his little silhouette before he left the room. I only got a chance to see his back now, albeit just for a moment.

He had the most little, tight butt I’ve ever been witness to. Devin was a seventeen year old kid, but he looked as if he was three or four years younger. His body was so fresh and gentle, his thighs – thin, his buttocks – oval and elastic, hidden under the school uniform. I barely saw hints of muscle, and I was ready to lay the blame on my imagination for that. His waist was small and feminine, but his messy haircut gave out a boyish vibe.

.. And he was gone.

I sighed, slamming my head in the desk internally. The only person which actually made me enjoy my first day at school had left me, and I was now bored to no end. The time was passing slowly and I felt the need to write to Devious.

I checked my phone, but she seemed to be “Away”. What could she be possibly doing? I shrugged and nodded to myself, when I realized I had nothing better to do. It didn’t matter to me if she was going to get my messages now or later – I just needed someone to talk to now. I was a social being, and as such, I needed someone to be beside me constantly, be it in my mind or physically.

I read her last message and hummed in approval of how wise it sounded and how it actually blessed me with Devin’s gaze, before I replied. I needed to remind myself of our conversation every now and then, because of the long intervals between certain messages. Well, whose fault was that now, I rolled my eyes with a smile.

Snowy: Ooh, the wise words from a wise woman! I have to admit – they served me well a moment ago. I got to attract someone special’s attention, even though I messed up later.

I pondered for a second over the dilemma if I should actually tell her what happened today at school or keep it to myself, but as I started typing, I received a message from my mom. I read it slowly, trying to dig in the information, yet I couldn’t help but wonder if it’s a joke.

According to her, I was going to be living temporarily in someone’s house, just until she finds a real home for us. She said she’s going to stay with a close friend of hers, while I’ll be said friend’s son’s new roommate. My mind couldn’t comprehend how she could think of such a plan, but I admit it was a smart one, as much as I didn’t like to be a bother to anyone. It’s not like I was shy or anything; in fact, I was quite the lively person, as you may have already noticed; it’s just that .. I always had this weird, devilish Cheshire smile on my face and a trickster’s mind to add to it, and when you combine both and introduce it to a stranger, the outcome may or may not be as expected.

Well, I wasn’t really obliged to be everyone’s dream guy, right? I mean, I’m a human being, I’m full of flaws as well, I frowned. It was at times like these when I hated myself. I constantly criticized my personality, my attitude; even my lips. So what if they’re curled in a bit of unique way? I’m sure Devi would like them. If there’s anything she likes. I shrugged and sighed, waiting impatiently for the school day to come to an end. I was having a bad time already – missing both Devious and Devin.

Actually, I wondered, their names sound alike. They started with the same four letters, which was a bit of a weird coincidence. And they both acted a little .. edgy at times. But Devi was nothing like Devin, mostly because she was a girl, and was a bit more talkative. I actually found conversing with her to be quite fun, while with Devin, it was more of a hassle. I had to try and coax him into looking at me, not to mention talking.
