Change of POV’s.

.Snowy. – Blue like the sky? (6:47PM)

I smiled contentedly, relaxing my back against the pillow. My eyelids were heavy, my face - pale. I was staying at some four-star hotel for now, but my mom said I was going to live in a real house in a few days. Whose house was it going to be, was a question she didn’t answer.

Devious – Blue like your eye when I hit it with a baseball bat. (6:48PM)

I snickered, yawning in my free hand. My room was dark, with only the light from the laptop’s display to shine in my face. My glowing, turquoise eyes were staring at the message with amusement, even though I barely kept them open. At one point I started dozing off, but a sudden imaginary jolt of electricity woke me up. What I thought was a minute sleep, had actually turned out to be half an hour.

Come on, I shook my head, you promised him!

.Snowy. – Whoa, Romeo, hold your horses. Do you need to beat me up just to show me what shade of blue you like? (7:21PM)

Devious – If I have to. (7:23PM)

I bit my lip in excitement, enjoying this a bit too much than necessary. I liked that kid, despite him being so grumpy and bitter all the time. If I gave him a compliment, he would shove it up my ass. If I ignore him, he would be freaking out silently and curse me a couple of times in a message, like now! Of course, that wasn’t a swear .. that was more of a threat.

.Snowy. – You’re quite the dangerous fella. Are you sure you’re not my ex? (7:25PM)

I giggled at my own joke, waiting for his reply patiently. I kept refreshing the page over and over again, hoping that he would reply as fast as usual, but this time, there was no reply. It’s been twenty minutes now and no word from Devious. I gulped, smiling guiltily. I fucked up.

.Snowy. – H-Hey, you there? (7:48PM)

No answer. Was he that mad at me? My joke wasn’t even funny, and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t mocking, either. I was more than delighted when I refreshed the page again and finally saw a message.

Devious – I am NOT your fella. (7:50PM)

I laughed lightheartedly, running a hand through my silver hair. My fingers were itching to write, and my need to sleep had vanished.

.Snowy. – Alright, alright! Would you want us to use Flex* or something similar, though? It’s rather tiring to refresh the page every two seconds. (7:53PM)

I nodded to myself as I sent the message and began my page-refreshing marathon. It was quite annoying to just keep pressing F5 on the keyboard all the time, especially since he didn’t even reply that often, not to mention his habit of going offline whenever he pleases, without even telling me. I didn’t mind that much if it meant regular chatting with him, but using an instant messenger was going to be a much better option than the constant PMing.

Devious – How about ‘no’ ? (7:53PM)

After the 15th refresh, I saw his reply and sighed. Why did I think he would agree? Perhaps he needed a little more persuasion .. I took a deep breath and started typing, planning to type as fast as him, before he’s off to somewhere again.

.Snowy. – Aww, come on! Why not?! (7:54PM)

Devious – Because I don’t use instant messaging programs. (7:54PM)

.Snowy. – I’ll teach you, then! Or do you want us to use our telephone numbers instead? That’s an even easier way to speak to each other, but our time zones are probably different, I can’t guarantee I won’t call you in the middle of the night. (7:57PM)
