Jeff and I ran into Masky, who was searching for us as we left the cellars. The tall boy didn't remove his mask as he spoke to me.
"Zero, Slenderman wants to speak with you in his office," he said in a low voice, slightly muffled from the mask. I nodded and Masky walked off. I raised an eyebrow at Jeff. The killer smiled at me.
"Don't worry," he said in reply to my quizzical look, "the proxies don't really mingle with the rest of us very often. You should be glad he even made eye contact!"
Jeff's teasing brought a smile to my black lips, and we began walking upstairs to the large wooden door. Jeff knocked, and motioned for me to enter. I frowned slightly.
"You're not coming?" I asked, disappointed. Jeff shook his head.
"Nah, I'm in enough trouble with him as it is." He glanced at me through his dark bangs. "Don't be scared. I'll wait for you out here."
I nodded, and squared my shoulders, forcing myself to enter the large room. It was bare, save for the enormous wooden desk with two chairs on either side, and a tall cupboard. Slenderman sat behind the desk, hands together, forming a steeple. I felt the weight of his gaze push down on my shoulders, and fought stubbornly to stand straight. I would not bow to such a dispicable creature. I glared stubbornly at him. Finally, he spoke.
"Zero. How have you been getting along?"
I crossed my arms, ignoring the chair the entity gestured to.
"It's fine."
Slenderman seemed to let off an air of irritation at my short answer. He stood up, towering above my head.
"Zero. While you are here, you are under my rules. However, you are allowed to wander as you please, provided you have someone with you at all times if you leave the mansion or enter the cellars."
He seemed to be waiting for an answer. I didn't move to acknowledge his speech. A sigh of anger was heard.
"Jeffrey has offered to take you hunting. I have agreed, but you are restricted to one kill, do you understand me?"
My white eyes widened, and I nodded. Slenderman leaned forwards on his desk.
"One kill Zero. Or else you will not be permitted outside again."
I huffed.
"Yes, okay, one kill! I get it, I'm not a child!" I snapped, frustrated at the way he spoke to me. The office door flew open with a bang.
"Get out Zero," Slenderman boomed, throwing his authority at me like a wall. I stumbled, and quickly regained my feet, hurrying out of the room. As I passed out of the doorway, the heavy door slammed shut with a loud slam! I looked up to see Jeff, staring at me with an eyebrow raised, arms crossed over his chest.
"Sounds like you two are getting along well," he stated, standing up straight. I rolled my eyes and walked past him to my room.

A few hours later, I had changed into a black singlet, my black shorts, a pair of black and white stripy leggings, and my signature black and white striped scarf. I quickly walked down the hall to the white door with bloodstains smeared all over it. I knocked loudly.
"Oi, Chuckles, c'mon lets go!" I yelled. I heard a crash and some swearing from inside. I lifted my eyebrows, and turned the handle, pushing the door open. As soon as I walked in, I began laughing harder than I Everglades before. Jeff was tangled in his blankets, half in, half out of his bed, and had somehow managed to pull his lamp down on top of him, the cord wrapped around his body, binding him. I wiped tears from my eyes as he glared at me.
"Yeah yeah, very funny. Now come and help me!" He muttered. I walked over and grabbed the lamp, yanking it until the cord flew free, and placed it on his bedside table. Then I grabbed Jeff's hand and pulled him to his feet. He threw the sheets and blankets onto his bed, scowling at me as I continued to giggle.
"Oh shut up would you, skeleton freak," he muttered. I shook my head and walked out the door, waiting for him to grab his knife from the drawers and follow me. We walked towards to front doors, and Jeff grabbed my arm to stop me.
"Your gonna need a weapon if we're going hunting," he reminded me. I pursed my lips.
"Slenderman took my sledge hammer," I complained. Jeff held up a finger, and quickly ran into a small room to the side of the hallway. A minute later, he was back, holding my sledge hammer in his hands. My eyes lit up in delight.
"Thor! Oh my god I missed you my baby!" I cooed. Jeff laughed.
"You named your hammer 'Thor'?" He asked incredulously. I smirked at him.
"Better than naming a knife 'Maria'.
Jeff poked his tongue out at me, and began walking towards the door. I gave my hammer a quick 'welcome home' hug, and ran to follow him.

Jeff led me to a huge forest a little while away from the mansion. My face crinkled as I realised where I was. My feet stopped moving, and it took Jeff a minute to realise I wasn't beside him. He turned and began walking back to me.
"Hey, what's up?" He asked, concern in his eyes. I stared into the darkness of the forest in the setting sun.
"This is where he found me..." I whispered softly. Jeff placed a hand on my shoulder gently.
"Come on, don't think about that. Think about your few hours of freedom right now."
I frowned and shook my head, clearing all revengeful thoughts. Jeff paused for a moment. Then his eyes lit up, making his face seem even more psychopathic. I raised an eyebrow.
"What..?" I asked hesitantly, but Jeff just held a finger up.
"Wait here, I have an idea on how to make this more fun!"
Without another word, he disappeared into the mansion. I sighed, and sat down in the grass to wait.

About 10 minutes later, Jeff came running back out again, grinning like an idiot. I rolled my eyes and got up off the ground.
"What have you done?" I accused. Jeff just grinned even more, showing lots of teeth.
"Don't look behind you," he stated. Of coarse I immediately spun around, just in time to feel ropes wrap around my body, tight enough that movement or struggle was impossible. I shrieked and tried to squirm, but to no avail. I took no notice of the gasping killer on the ground, trying to breath between laughing himself to death, but instead turned my attention to the ropes that bound me. They were glowing yellow. Realisation dawned on me, and I felt my face twist into a grin.
"Puppet! Let me go!" I laughed. I heard a velvety chuckle from behind me, and a pair of arms replaced the ropes. I laughed again and Puppeteer released me. He smiled widely, dimpling and letting out a pale yellow glow. His glowing eyes were outlined in little laugh crinkles. I blushed.
"Hey Zero, its good to see you," Puppet greeted. I grinned at him.
"You too!"
Jeff finally began breathing again and stumbled over to us.
"God, Zero, you should have seen your face!" He teased. "It was like an angry little skunk getting stepped on!"
I narrowed my eyes at The Killer.
"So I'm a skunk am I?" I asked sweetly. "Well then you must be a prawn. All shit for brains and no backbone."
Puppet spluttered, failing miserably Ng at trying not to laugh, and finally gave up when he noticed the look on Jeff's face. He lunged at me, tackling me to the ground, grinning psychotically, and began tickling me. I screamed and flailed, punching him as hard as I could, but even though he grunted and flinched every time I hit him, he wouldn't stop. Tears began to roll down my eyes and my breath was getting more and more forced. Finally, Jeff was dragged off me, and I was left panting on the ground. Puppeteer kept his ropes securely around Jeff as he laughed. I glared at Jeff.
"I. Am. Going. To....MURDER. YOU!" I panted. Puppet pulled me to my feet kindly.
"Cmon you two," he nagged. "It's getting darker and I'm looking forward to the actual murders tonight."
I nodded in agreement and skipped off ahead with Puppet, leaving Jeff to catch up.
