Choked Up

The next morning I woke up to find something very large and very heavy laying across my stomach. I coughed from the pressure and tried to push the figure off.
"Get off me you fat lump, I can breathe!" I squealed. Suddenly a face popped up from the side and scared the living shit out of me.
"Jeff!" I screamed, furiously trying to wiggled out from beneath his weight.
"Heeeey Zero!" He greeted creepily. I grunted.
"What do you want you creep," I laughed. Jeff grinned like a spastic.
"Some little birdy told me that you and Puppeteer snuck in at midnight last night," he smirked, wriggling his eyebrows at me. I hit him in the ribs.
"Knock it off! Anyway, it's none of your business!" I replied, finally pushing him off me. Jeff fell to the floor with a thud. He stood up, rubbing his elbow. He poked his tongue out at me, and I threw a pillow at him.
"Get out you weirdo," I chuckled as he ducked.

After he left, I had a quick shower and brushed my hair and teeth, throwing on my usual clothes and headed toward the kitchen. I immediately smelled frying bacon and maple syrup. I inhaled deeply as I entered the full dining room. I squeezed past people until I reached the far corner of the room, and sat myself beside Jane and Clockwork. I glanced at the two, who were giggling and checking out Eyeless Jack's ass. I rolled my eyes. I mean, he does have a very fine ass, but do they really have to make that big a deal? I grabbed an apple and began munching on it as we waited for the meal to be served. Clocky leaned around Jane to speak to me.
"Oh, Zero," she called, something arranged tinting her words. I frowned and stared at her.
"Yeah?" I replied impolitely. Clockwork pursed her lips indignantly.
"I was just wondering why you were out so late last night?" She asked innocently. I narrowed my eyes at her.
"What are you talking about?" I spat between gritted teeth. Clockwork smiled wickedly.
"Oh don't try that," she scolded sweetly. "I saw you sneak out of the bathroom with that freak from the tunnels. That was after I saw you two flying from the forest."
I gave Clockwork a cold death glare, and Jane withered between us, sinking low down in her seat. Clocky grinned, showing white teeth.
"So?" She asked in a voice like dripping honey. "Why were you out there with him, freak?"
I snarled.
"Non of your god damn business, skank," I replied coldly. I noticed people were beginning to notice our confrontation. Clockwork didn't stop.
"So what, are you together now? Is it a two for one freak deal?" She laughed and drew her serrated knife from her pocket as I stood up, slamming doth hands down on the table top, creating a loud bang. I hunched my shoulders forward and curled my hands into fists, leaving deep grooves in the wood as I dug my nails into the table top.
"You know what Clocky?" I said in a calm, quiet voice that made everyone else in the room freeze.
"You think you're something special, don't you? Someone who should have all the rights because your life was so hard done by. Well screw you! You have NO idea how easy you have had it! And you think you have the right to throw it in everyone's faces and think you're top bitch? No more!"
Without warning, I threw myself at the stunned girl, wrapping my hands around her throat. I may have been scrawny and a lot smaller than her, not to mention weaponless, but I had surprise on my side as I squeezed my hands tighter. Blood began to run down her stitched cheek from behind her clock eye as blood vessels burst. I felt hands tugging at my clothes and shoulders, but I kicked backwards and they released me. Clockwork was struggling feebly now, as the life drained out of her. I felt a flare of bloodlust rage up inside me, and I dug my nails into her throats as hard as I could. Suddenly, a black appendage wrapped tightly around my waist and dragged me roughly into the air. I was to determined to not let go that Clockwork's body actually raised up with me, until her weight got the best of me and I dropped her harshly to the hard floor. The appendage around my waist tightened momentarily, cutting off my own breathing, then loosened slightly. I found myself glaring into the furiously blank face of Slenderman. Rage surrounded his figure like a blanket.
"Zero. You are coming with me," he thundered, swinging me around as he began to storm off towards the cellar. I struggled furiously, scratching and biting at the tentacle that secured me, but to no avail. As we passed out of the room, I saw Jeff mouth something to me.
Don't worry.
I reached out to him, but the door slammed shut between us.

I screamed profanities at the enormous entity as he dragged me down towards the deepest part of the tunnels, but Slenderman didn't react. Suddenly, he threw me down on the ground, hard enough for my head to crack onto the cement tiles. I grimaced and sat up slowly, working off the dizzy blackout. When I finally regained my vision and balance, I looked around, to see that Slender had thrown me into a cell, with metal bars on the door, and only a small single bed and tiny wooden table to fill it. There was a small glass window, but the other side was simply more cement. Slenderman threw my sledgehammer at me, winding me as it hit my chest with a hollow thump. I glared at him.
"This is where you are going to spend the rest of your days, so you may as well has a little comfort," he growled, and left, leaving me alone in the pitch black. I glowered and sniffed. Suddenly a small light came into view from a smaller tunnel, growing brighter as it drew near. It was Jeff.
"Jeff!" I screamed, rushing to wrap my freezing hands around the metal bars. Jeff ran up too, holding a small lantern.
"Zero, god are you okay?" He fussed, checking me over for injuries. I quickly hid my grazes and scrapes.
"Jeff, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to take that fight so far," I cried. Jeff wrapped his pale hands around mine.
"It's okay, I'm going to convince Slender to let you out! But for now, here's a lantern, some warm clothes and blankets, and a little present..."
I smiled sadly as Jeff brought out a small cupcake from his hoody pocket and stuck a candle in it.
"Happy Birthday Zero," he murmured softly, passing it through the bars.
I gave a loud sniff and hugged Jeff as best I could through the cold bars.
"Thank you," I whispered, a tear rolling down my cheek. "Thank you so much."
Jeff smiled half heartedly and passed me the rest of the things. I quickly spread the blankets on the bed and piled the clothes in the corner. Jeff wiped my tear away as I returned to the bars.
"It's okay Hun, I'm going to go and talk to Slender right now, okay?" He promised. I nodded, even though I knew it was useless. Jeff put a brave smile on, and waved as he ran back down the tunnel. I watched as his form grew smaller, and vanished as he disappeared into the dark. I sat down at the small table and glared at the cupcake forlornly, tears threatening to spill again.
'Well wasn't that the greatest idea you've ever had!' Alice remarked sarcastically.
I didn't reply.
