Headaches

Something glinted in the moonlight as I brought the knife down, burying it into the victims throat. I felt the resistance of muscles and tendons give way as I pushed the knife in, hearing the wet squelch as I slid in. The victims blood can put in little spurts, coating my bare hand, making the handle of the knife slippery from the slick. The victim gave a wet gasp, blood bubbling from their lips. I watched as their eyes slowly clouded and glazed over, notifying me that their fun was over. I twisted the sedated knife as I pulled it out, feeling it catch and sever tendons and lines of flesh. I laughed as the victims body spasmed. I let the knife fall from my hand as I took a few steps backward. And picked up the gun and turned toward the baby in the cradle beside the now dead mother...

My eyes flew open as I gasped loudly. Sweat coated my skin, and I felt flushed. I could feel my heartbeat trying to jump through my rib age.
God I needed to kill someone right now.
I always woke up from dreams like that with the urge to kill. I looked around to try and find my sledge hammer, until I remembered where I was.
Damn it! This is all your fault Alice, I fumed. The voice in my mind snapped back at me.
Well maybe if you hadn't taken over we wouldn't be in this mess!
I snarled.
Shut up you stupid, worthless piece of-
Suddenly the door opened, startling me and cutting me off mid thought. It was that creature, Slenderman.
"It's time for breakfast," he snapped and turned on his heel, not even waiting for a reply, or to see if I was following. I scowled and threw off the covers, jumping out of bed and hurrying out the door to catch up. As I did, I crashed into the chest of someone slightly taller than me.
"Oh, crap! S-sorry! I d-didn't see you t-there!"
I was steadied by a pair of gloved hands. I looked up to see a young boy, maybe 17 or so, with a mouth mask hanging around his neck and a pair of orange goggles on his head. His amber eyes were wide and apologetic. I noticed he spoke with a soft voice, and had a slight stutter. He also kept twitching. I smiled slightly.
"It's fine. It was my fault too. My name's Zero," I said, wondering who the boy was. The boy smiled, and rested a hand on his hip, where I saw two hatchets hanging off a belt.
"My n-name is Toby. Ticci Toby. A-Are you going to b-breakfast?" He asked politely. I nodded, and he pointed down the hall.
"It's that w-way. I've got t-to go and find s-someone, I'll see you t-there! N-nice meeting you!" Toby waved and went down towards the opposite way he had pointed, and walked into the room with the crossed out symbol on the door. I blinked, then shook my head and hurried downstairs.

When I finally caught up with Slenderman, I found he was already speaking with somebody. I shuffled to the side to see who it was. It was another boy, older, around my age, maybe about 19. He had long, dead straight black hair that fell across his pale blue eyes, and his mouth had long slices from the corners along his cheeks, giving him a permanent smile. His eyes looked annoyed though. He had a plain white hoodie over some black jeans, and I noticed a few rust coloured stains on the white material. The boy caught me staring from behind Slenderman, and raised an eyebrow, his mouth lifting up slightly. His attention was brought back to Slenderman when the creature growled. The boy exchanged a few more words and walked passed Slenderman, towards me. Slenderman shook his head and stormed off to the kitchen, where I could smell some delicious smells. The boy stopped a little bit away from me.
"Hello skeleton girl," he said cockily. I smirked.
"Gidday chuckles," I teased back. I noticed a sharp knife in the boy's hand.
"Ooh, pretty!" I admired. The boy grinned and his eyes lit up as he showed it off.
"She is, isn't she?" He gushed. He caught my quiet chuckle and held his free hand out.
"I'm Jeff by the way, Jeff The Killer," he introduced. I smiled.
"I'm Zero. Just Zero," I replied, placing my hand in his. Jeff winked as he shook my hand.
"I'm sure there is more to you than that, Zero," he whispered. I laughed again, and he led me into the dining room. My eyes widened at the size, and at the amount of food on the extremely long table. I noticed a few people sitting or standing around. Jeff pulled me over to a young boy and girl around our age.
"Zero, this is Ben Drowned, and Jane Everlasting," he said, gesturing to the pair. The boy, maybe about 12 or so, was wearing a bright green beanie and matching jacket over white jeans. His eyes where black with red irises, and seemed to leak watery blood. He smiled.
"Uh, hi! Zero right?" He asked shyly. I nodded. The girl stood up and shook my hand. She was as tall as me, with black hair and eyes. She had a little black dress with matching heels on, and I noticed a grey cardigan beside her.
"Hi, you must be the new girl who is in the room next to mine!" She said. "I helped Slender find you some clothes."
I nodded.
"Uh, yeah, thanks."
Jeff nudged me into a chair beside him. I was glad. I didn't really want to sit next to anyone, but if I had to choose I would have picked him. He seemed the most like me. I noticed Toby walk in with two other guys, and he smiled and waved at me. I smiled back a little. There were quite a few people there. Thanks to Jeff whispering in my ear the whole meal, I found out that the two guys who walked in with Toby were called Masky and Hoodie. Original. I rolled my eyes, since Masky had a white mask with black feminine feature painted on, and a faded yellow jacket, and Hoodie had, surprise surprise, a bright orange hoody pulled over his head and a black ski mask hood with a red unsmiling face stitched onto it. Then there was a creepy monochrome clown with huge arms and claws, and sharp little teeth. His name, according to Jeff's commentary, was Laughing Jack. He kind of creeped me out. Then there were two little kids, both girls, one in a pink dress, and one in a purple dress. The pink one had long tangled brown hair and bright green eyes, and her name was Sally. The purple one had a red bow in her hair, and red eyes, and she was called Lazari. Next to Lazaro was a boy about 19 or 20, with a dark blue mask with black dripping eyes. His hair was long enough for his brown bangs to hang over the mask, and his hoodie was the same colour as his mask. Jeff called him over, and he introduced himself as Eyeless Jack. He was extremely quiet. The last person was another girl around my age, who had some sort of shiny silver clock replacing what would have been her left eye. She had stitches on her mouth like mine, but hers were all zigzagged and cross stitched. I despised her as soon as Jeff whispered her name in my ear. Clockwork. God, all of these people except for Jeff, Jane, Sally and Lazari had such unoriginal names.
I sat silently through the meal, gritting my teeth and forcing myself to not lash out and hurt someone. The constant babble was giving me a headache. These people were so annoying and happy. It made me want to throw up. The only people who seemed to be genuine and didn't make me want to hurl were Jeff and Jane. Jeff walked me to my room after the meal, and Jane offered to find me some more clothes.
"No, no, trust me, I have plenty," I sighed as Jane tried to offer again. I just wanted to be alone. All these people were giving me a headache. Jane finally got the message and left, leaving me alone to my thoughts. I stripped off my clothes and put on some ripped black jeans and a black singlet. Slenderman and Jane had left a box of decorations for my room, so I spent a while putting them up, making myself feel a bit more at home. Then I flopped on the bed and thought about the best way to get rid of Alice.
Oh yes.
Alice.
The annoying little voice that is always contradicting me.
See, I wasn't actually born in this body. This body isn't really mine. It was Alice Jackson's. Back when she was a child, and just needed an imaginary friend. But she didn't realise that her believing I was real made me real. And I didn't want to be an imaginary friend anymore. So I took over. I began making her do things that she would have never done. Then when she finally snapped, I took over completely. But she didn't completely leave, as I found out a little later. She was still there, a little voice in the back of my mind, screaming every time I made a kill, begging me to let her out. So I needed to get rid of her, once and for all. But I had to do it before Slenderman let me free, otherwise she might not ever leave.
I threw my pillow over my head, blocking out any noise that could make my headache worse.
This is not gonna be fun...
