As evening drew near and our plans got closer I found myself getting excited that we were all getting together. It felt like ages since we had done anything. While we were doing this to pick Tony's brain about what might be going on with the vamps in the end it was a night out with friends so I planned to make the most of it.

I pulled the sexy black dress and knee high leather boots out. Spent extra care with my make-up and hair and even pulled out a clutch to match for the night. Upon wrapping things up to leave I stopped in front of the full length mirror in the bedroom to scrutinize the full effect. I had to say with the short black dress hugging my curves and my blond tresses curled and styled just so, not to mention the three inch heels on my black knee boots , I looked sassy and felt good.

I messaged Seslie as I walked to my car to see if we were meeting inside or out and climbed behind the wheel of the Mustang. Nothing makes me feel better than the roar of my car and the smell of fall in the air. It was a cool night so I left the top up but cracked the windows so I could still enjoy the fragrant air as I drove. Arriving at The Curve I parked and glanced at my phone for a reply from Ses, but as I was checking Tony knocked on my drivers side window giving me a huge grin and wave. Climbing out of the car I noticed the rest of our group was clustered at the edge of the road . Joining everyone at the edge of the parking lot we all called out greetings and gave hugs as we made our way towards the door.

Everyone filed in and grabbed drinks at the bar then headed to the beer garden to meet up at a table that Seslie's man Drew had staked out for us. It had been a minute since I'd seen Ses's sexy vamp. He was kicked back at the table with a bucket of beer in front of him. He is one of those guys that looks like the boy next door after years of working out. Before his change he was special forces and did kickboxing as an ameture . He still kept that solid shape. His strawberry blond hair and tight red shirt over bulging biceps had already caught the eye of more than a few females in the room.

Sitting down Seslie and I boxed Tony in on both sides without needing to talk about it. It was always a bit amazing the way we could read each other. While Tony hadn't noticed at all our little seating plan had not gone unnoticed by Drew. He gave me a questioning look over Ses's head. I just smiled and shrugged he would have no problem hearing anything that was said even over the crowd and DJ but if my sister hadn't clued him in I wasn't going to either.

Everyone settled in and the conversation was flowing from topic to topic along with the consumption of alcohol. Everything from family and friends to current events. With everyone vocalizing loudly and laughing while teasing each other. Just as I was planning to steer the conversation towards Tony and try to dig up any clue as to what was going on that Leon hadn't been driving me crazy for answers my senses were brushed by a wave of power. As my eyes made the tour around the room my eyes landed on Mr. Excotic and steamy from dinner the other night seated by the main door to the bar. As our eyes looked he gave me a sexy smirk revealing dimples. I couldn't help but smile back. After we exchanged a few more looks Seslie seemed to notice and nudged me as if to ask what the heck was up. I just shrugged my shoulders truthfully unsure myself. But enjoying myself all the same. This went on for a while as the spirits continued to flow.

Just as I was about to build up the courage to walk over and talk to him. Celia started saying her goodbyes so she could get back to the " real world" in her words. I guess a wife and mother's job was never done. We hugged and agreed to coffee and donuts before work on monday then she headed out. Just as I was planning to make my way to Mr. Sexy's table I notice it was empty. Glancing around the room not seeing him anywhere I sent out a feeler for his magic but got nothing back. Over the next while I found myself continuing to watch for him. Feeling a little put off I tried to tune back into the conversation around me with little success. After an hour more of small talk I said my goodbyes and left.
