It's funny how quickly things change in just one week. In one week, I my home was destroyed, I moved to a new neighborhood, in a new city, in a new state. Not to mention me getting held up a grade. Now I was going to be in the same grade as my sister which also meant we were going to have the same home room class. To be honest I don't really mind being a senior this year instead of a sophomore, school has always been a breeze for me. Never in my life have I studied a test and yet I've managed to ace every single one of them. But I would have liked my parents to have at least informed me about the subject before deciding on it.

"DAFFY!" My mom cried out loud

"I'M COMING!" I shouted back. I can't believe my parents were making me go around the neighborhood and introduce myself. thankfully I had my two sisters, Angela and Rose with me. Rose who's eight years old is probably the biggest chatterbox you'll ever meet and Angela will then probably come in second. I rushed down stairs and out the door where my two sisters were waiting for me.

"Let's do this." Angela said. We walked to the first house And knocked on the door. A little girl answered the door. "Hi sweetie" Angela said, "I'm Angela, this is Rose," she said pointing to Rose, "and this is Daffodil." she said pointing to me. "We are your new neighbors."

The little girl stared at us and I stared back. By the look in her eyes I could tell that she was the hyper type. "Hi! I'm Lory. I'm six years old and I love bunnies. I've been living in this neighborhood since I was born!"

I heard my sister chuckle. the hyper type, just like I thought. "I love bunnies too!" Rose exclaimed. "It was nice to meet you. Bye!" Rose said as we started to walk away.

"Bye!"

We went up to another house and knocked. An old lady answered the door. "Well hello there." she said sweetly. "What can I do for you?"

"Hi! We're your new neighbors. I'm Rose, this is Daffy and this is Angela." she said pointing to us.

"Hi." We both waved at the woman.

The old lady said smiling, "I'm Valerie, but you can call me Val. Please come in, I just got some cookies out of the oven."

"Yay cookies!" Rose cheered as she rushed in. Angela and I soon followed her in.

Valerie closed the door and pointed to a room, "The kitchen is that way." We all walked to it and immediately saw three platters filled with cookies of all kinds. I felt my mouth water as the delicious smell filled my nose. it's been years since I had homemade cookies straight out of the oven. she got out a plate  filled with cookies. Then, she asked what we would like to drink. We all got milk. "I don't get visitors often. I really appreciate you coming."

"We really appreciate you for having us." Said Angela in a flattering voice.

"And the cookies!" exclaimed Rose.

"Do you live here by yourself?" I asked

"Yes, my husband passed away two years ago and my child lives in Colorado. He does try to visit me often." She answered honestly. "And the neighbors here aren't really close. Hopefully you coming here can change that."

"Maybe." I answered quietly but highly doubted the thought.

We soon said our good byes and went on to the next houses.

Before we knew it all that was left was the house across the street from ours. I thought of all the other neighbors we just meet. All of them were welcoming and pretty nice. They didn't seem to mind much, which I was happy about since I didn't really like attention. With the exception of this one girl, Macy, who didn't seem to happy about it. My sisters thought she was cool, but then again they couldn't see people the way that I did. While her eyes sparkled a little, her forehead had a little wrinkle on it and the edges of her lips were pointed downward when she opened the door. I already could tell that she was a bit on the bratty side.

Rose rang the doorbell and we waited. After a minute or so, she rang the doorbell again. We waited outside for about five minutes, before I turned around to leave.

Suddenly, as if it was right on cue, the door opened. A boy was standing behind the door. He seemed about 6'1 and I guessed he was probably 17 years old. He had golden brown hair that was in a messy quiff. His hazel eyes at first, seemed cold. But, looking at them closely I could see a little of warmth in them... weird. He had a very fine shaped nose. His plump lips were pale on the outside and got darker. He had his arm crossed against his fine chest. He wore blue t-shirt, that he made look tight because of his muscles.

"Can I help you?" He asked in a deep, charming, sexy voice.
