It turns out Angela successfully pulled the prank after all, since I ended up receiving glares from Jake every time he laid his eyes on me. The only thing that I was worried about is what is he planning for us next.

I accepted the offer to be on the track team. Julie and my other teammates were surprisingly alright. Like Julie had promised, I was a 400m runner I also was signed up for the 400m relay. Everyday after lunch, we all met up on the track field to practice. What I really enjoyed about being part of this team was that they all enjoyed running as much as I did. They would smile with pride winning or losing the race. The only thing that mattered to them was that they got to run. Julie, of course tried to push everyone to their limits when racing. Today, was the first time I got to race the 400m dash. I stood in front of the white starting line. My left foot was bent under me, while my right foot was sticking out from behind my in a straight position. My two hands were touching the ground, getting ready to push myself up.

"Ready, Set, Go!" Shouted Julie.

I shot up and started to run, gaining speed with each second. This felt good, this felt really good, this felt amazing. I did a body check to see if I was running properly. Back straight: check, head looking straight forward: check, arms in a bent position: check, hands relaxed: check, legs relaxed: check.

I left my competition far behind as I crossed the finish line. I looked at Julie to hear my time. Her face was in shock, "1 minute 13 seconds and 36 milliseconds."

"Woah." on of the track runners said behind me.

"You've got some serious talent." Julie exclaimed.

"Thanks," I smiled as I bent down to pick my water bottle from the grass.

Math. The last class of the day. As I was getting ready for class Lizzie and Brody walked up to me.

"Guess what I heard?" Brody said.

"What?" I chuckled.

"Mr.Rogers is gonna return our pop quiz." Lizzie exclaimed

"Where do you guys find this stuff out?" I asked the smiling.

"I find it out from Brody." Lizzie replied looking at Brody.

"It's a secret." He said with a smirk creeping on his face.

"Come on guys, lets go." I said heading towards math class. We arrived there as soon as the bell rang.

"Good afternoon class." Mr.Rogers greeted us.

"Good afternoon." The whole class replied back.

"Since most of you have been bugging me this past week to grade your pop quiz's, yesterday night that is what I did." He said as he got out the quiz papers and started giving them back to us. "Well done." He said as he got to my desk and handed me the paper. 100%. No surprise.

After he finished handing out the papers, he spoke, "Now may anyone want to inform me why the only person who got 100% on their quiz was Daffy?"

What? I couldn't be the only one who got the test done all correct, I could've sworn all of Jakes answers were exactly like mine. I looked over at where Jake was sitting at the back of the class. I tried to read his face to see what he got but I couldn't. His face was expressionless.

"Jake I'd like to see you after class to discuss you're grades recently." Mr.Rogers spoke up.

That must mean that he failed. But how and why. Why did everything he do have to be so confusing.

School quickly passed by and before I knew it I was out at the school parking lot waiting for Angela by her car. I looked around for her to see if she was any where near me, and quickly spotted her on the other side of the parking lot talking to her friends. "Hurry up!" I called out to her.

All of her friends turned to stare at me with an amused look on their face. "Wait!" She called back

"I've been waiting for 10 minutes." I mumbled to myself checking the time on my phone.

Finally Angela started to head towards me. "What do you guys even talk about?"

Angela shot me a puzzled look and said, "Since when did you care about what me and my friends talk about?"

"I want to know the why you took so long, and if it's a reasonable explanation of why you made me wait 20 MINUTES WAITING FOR YOU!" I shouted at her.

"Calm your tits down, my god. What the hell has gotten in to you?" She asked furiously.

"By the way it's my friends and I." I stated glaring at her.

She looked at me with confusion, "What?" She asked

"You said 'What me and my friends talk about.' It's my friends and I." I pointed out.

She rolled her eyes and started the car, "Get a life." She sighed.

When we arrived at our house my mom was standing impatiently in front of the door. When she spotted us she started to glare. "Where have you been, you're half a hour late. I thought something happened to you two." She scowled as she walked towards us.

"She's the one to blame." I spoke out dryly while glaring at Angela.

"Mom chill, I had something to discuss with my friends." Angela said.

"Oh and what exactly did you discuss," I said turning my head towards my older sister," What you guys should wear tomorrow, or maybe-"

"Shut up Daffy."Angela interrupted, "What's up with you today, did you get a 99% on your math test."

"No." I snorted, "I got 100%."

"Get inside girls." My mom said, "I've got something to discuss with you two."

"Mom, as much as I want to go, I can't." Angela said, "I have a cheer leading game I have to go to in spring break. I'm pretty sure it won't matter if I go or not. Daffy and Rose are still going."

"If you're not going than Rose cant go." My mom spoke up firmly.

"What? No, I want to go!" Rose whined with a pout on her face, "It's not fair."

My mom looked at Rose and her expression softened, "Rose dear, I can't leave you with just Daffy."

I looked up to my mom as I raised my eyebrows and frowned, "Thanks mom, that's a really thoughtful thing to say." I said sarcastically.

Mom looked at me with creased eyebrows and then turned to Ross, "Honey, as much as you want to see your aunt, your aunt didn't invite you girls just so you could talk but also to help out with the baby."

"When will I go?" I asked my mom.

"You will be leaving after tomorrow and will be staying there for two weeks. It's best if you start packing today." Mom replied.

I quickly rushed up the stairs and turned swiftly into my room. I opened the closet door and bent down so I could pull out my suitcase. I laid my suitcase on top of the bed and then went back to the closet. I stood there stating at my clothes trying to decide what to take. Aunt Cindy lives near a lake so it's best of I take sports wear and jeans. I grabbed out the clothes that I decided to take and placed them neatly into my suitcase.

"Did you take your swimsuit?" My mom asked. I turned to the door and spotted her leaning on the door.

"Mom I don't want to swim there." I stated with a firm tone.

"Oh, come on Daf, aunt Cindy insisted you bring them." She pleaded.

"I'll think about it." I said.
