"There was a stage,
A huge stage,
A microphone sat front and center,
Its golden body shining in the spotlight.
I run toward it but every step I took,
It seemed to get farther away. I could hear snickers and laughing.
I look up and see smiling faces laughing at me as I struggle.
I turn back to the mic. But it was gone."
