Maybe John was just a jerk.  Flynn seemed harmless. Everytime I turned around he smiled. I smiled back, then turned back to John. " He doesn't seem too bad." I said. John's sunny expression changed. " I knew it, of course you'd like him." He said, eye brows furrowing. " You are just a fag, just like him". I was shocked at how fast his sunny expression suddenly changed.  The next thing I knew, I was throwing punches at his red head. "Why don't you click your heels three times and GO TO HELL." I said before picking up my bags and sitting next to Flynn. I gently tapped him on his shoulder. I laughed at the way he jumped. Scared much? "Hi," I said. " Hey man," he said with a smile. "You just moved here?" I nodded.

" Where you from?"

"Jacksonville, Florida."

"Really? My grandmom lives there, she's crazy."

"How crazy?"

"Crazy enough."

I laughed. After several minutes of awkward silence, I decided to ask him. "Why do people treat you differently?". He stared at me, examining, as I wait for an answer. Finally he said,"Because I'm a member of The Raid." "What's that?", I asked. He sighed. "The glee club." Really? These crossed-eyed bitches were putting the poor guy down because was in a glee club? "They're just jerks." It took me a while to notice that I said it out loud. I looked over at Flynn. His eyes were wide open.

"Your eyes are gonna pop out," I said plainly."Just  sayin'" He straightened his eyes and said," I was expecting you to say something else.""Like what?" "Like, That's why they punish you, Only fags sing, or if you sing you stink" I stared at the black haired boy. Why the living Hell would people say such things? " I can sing," I said, " That doesn't make me a fag." Flynn stared at me in awe. " D-Do you really, absolutely mean that?" "Of course I mean it."I said smiling. Flynn chuckled like a madman before looking ahead when he stopped. I looked up. Everybody was just staring at me like I just admitted murder.

Fuck those damned hoes.

The bus came to a screeching stop in front of a large building with big words which read Aragon High School. I sighed. New life here I come. I stepped off the bus. I turned to Flynn who was standing right beside me. "I'll see you later," I said,"I have to get my time table." He smiled and nodded, although I thought I saw a tint of sadness in his blue orbs. I smiled then walked through the swarm of students that stood in front of the school. I opened the front door and walked in.

People were standing by the lockers talking and laughing. Posters hang along the brick walls. All of them asked you to either join a club or activity. My eyes scanned the doors until I spot one with a golden plate that read, 'MAIN OFFICE' hanging above it. I opened the door and walked in. At the desk sat a middle aged women with blond hair and her face filled with too much make-up. Her hair was tied up in a neat ponytail which swinged to the side every time she looked from her computer screen to the papers that were stacked up in a messy pile on her desk. I looked at the golden slab that sat at the front of desk,

Ms.Marsling

"Excuse me," I muttered. She continued to type. "Excuse me, Ms.Marsling!" She looked up. Finally. "Yes dear?," She said, her voice squealing.Ugh. Don't judge, Jared. I thought. Even though she looks like a downright slut. "Hi," I said in my happiest tone,"I'm new here, can I please have my schedule?" "Well, of course dear, what's your name?" Oh God, I'm gonna puke! "Jared Savestone." I said plainly. She nodded. "Well, let's see...." Her polished fingernails tapped on the keyboard, her lips wrinkling as she observed the screen.

Bitch.

"Ah, here we are!" She pressed one last key before walking over to the printer in her purple, sharp pointed high heels. She pulled out a fresh sheet of paper with a table diagram showing my classes. "Oh!,"She exclaimed, scaring the shit out of me."I almost forgot, you have to join a club!" A club? She handed a small sheet of paper. It showed a list of available clubs. The other ones were marked in black, meaning they were unavailable. Probably full. The only ones that were available were
