Kaycee. Kaycee was the new student. Standing alongside her was a boy named Jaxon. A good looking one at that. Well, not as good looking as Freddy, but close enough. Kaycee glanced at Tomika and I and gave us her million-dollar smile. She mouthed us "Thank god you're here."

Mr. Finn gestured for Kaycee and Jaxon to take their seats. We then parted our desks away from them. They looked around, quite confused. Mr. Finn walked over to them.

"What are you gonna do to us? Let us go!" Jaxon screamed. Trying to wriggle out of his tight position between his chair and his desk. Mr. Finn laughed. "Dude, chill. We're not gonna do anything to you. I promise," he assured. "Oh thank goodness." Kaycee sighed. "But.. we do have a few questions," Mr. Finn told them.

"Whatever anyone told you, I did not steal any chocolate!" Jaxon defended himself. Kaycee smacked him on the back of his head. "Ow!"

"Idiot."

"First question, can you keep a secret?" Mr. Finn asked. "Of course! Me and Jaxon are the best secret keepers you'll ever find. It's what we go by; we don't break our promises." Kaycee replied. Mr. Finn smiled happily. But his smile turned upside down. "I trust you. But what about Jaxon?"

"Please. I've known him all my life. You can trust him." Kaycee reassured. "Okay good. 'Cause we have a secret."

Kaycee looked at Mr. Finn weirdly. "Please don't tell me you guys are some kind of mysterious cult." she said. "With mysterious rituals." Jaxon continued. Mr. Finn gave them a 'what the actual heck?' look. "Dude and Dudette, that's freaky."

"Hit it guys."

Then there was the big reveal. I spun around the bookshelves to reveal the amps. Freddy took out his drum set from the closet. Tomika took her bass and Zack took his guitar. I had my tambourine with me. "Welcome to School of Rock." Mr. Finn announced. Kaycee and Jaxon gasped.

"The School of Rock? Battle of The Bands winners?" Kaycee questioned. We nodded. "So you've heard of us?" Freddy asked. Both of them nodded. "We're huge fans! I can't believe it!" Kaycee squealed while jumping for joy along with Jaxon. "Just please don't tell anyone." Mr. Finn begged. "We promise." Kaycee and Jaxon said simultaneously. "I can't wait to watch you guys up close!"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Watch? Uh-uh Missy. Once you join Mr. Finn's class, you're automatically part of School of Rock." Mr. Finn said. "What? But, you guys don't need any other members. We're perfectly fine." Jaxon assured. "But that wouldn't feel good," I said. "No, no it's okay. I assure you." Kaycee reassured us. "Don't worry guys. We'll figure it out." Mr. Finn said. "For now, let's rock!"

"Yeah!"

"I'll see you later," Freddy said, as he hugged Kale. Oh Summer, why are you so desperate. I kept on spying on Freddy when he was together with Kale. I know, it's pathetic. But for some unexplainable reason, I just couldn't get over him no matter how hard I tried to. There was just something about him that kept urging me to carry on.

"Summer?"

I snapped out of my thoughts, and looked up to see the one and only, Freddy Jones. Staring down at me with a puzzled look.

"What are you doing here?" he queried. "I thought you said you were leaving,"

Quick, come up with an excuse. Quickly!

"I was going to, but it turns out my mom isn't here to pick me up yet." I said, trying to hide the fact that I lied to him. "Why can't you just walk home?" Freddy asked, getting more curious. Oh no. Now what?

"My...ankle hurts. I think it's sprained," I lied. "Really? Why don't you go sit down then. I think I might have something for that." He said.

He told me to wait and came back holding an ice pack. I sat down on the school bench acting as if I were in pain to make it look more realistic.

It seemed to work.

Man, I must be a good actress.

He lifted up my legs for elevation. He told me to do it above my heart-level and make sure that I try to elevate it for two to three hours a day if possible. "It will decrease swelling and bruising." he informed me while holding onto the ice pack he placed on my ankle.

Honestly, this just made him ten times more attractive.

I could feel butterflies in my stomach. I felt so high like I was flying that I just felt sick. I closed my mouth. "Summ, you okay?" Freddy asked me. I shook my head.

Freddy ran out and grabbed a bucket which he gave to me.

I thought I was going to throw up, but instead, I belched. He let out a sigh of relief. "You good?" he asked. "Yeah," I replied.

Well-- I thought I was 'good'. But it turned out that I wasn't. I began sneezing. Just as if it couldn't get any worse, it began raining. "Summer, you have a cold." Freddy said. I'd be guessing that's karma for lying about being injured. So I became ill.

Freddy's POV

Summer suddenly covered her mouth with her hand. She looked queasy and nauseous.  "Summ, you okay?" I asked her. She shook her head. I immediately ran out and took a bucket and gave it to her. I thought she was going to feel sick and throw up, but instead she just belched. I sighed in relief. I took away the bucket and asked her, "You good?"

To which she replied, "Yeah."

But apparently she wasn't good because she began sneezing. Cute little sneezes. But maybe a little too much of them. "Summer, you have a cold." I said. I sighed once again. "Come on, wear this. I'll take you home to your mom before she gets angry." I said, giving her my jacket. Thank goodness my mother had always taught me to be prepared. I brought an umbrella.

We began walking to Summer's house.

"Thanks for helping me out," Summer thanked me. "No biggie."

"Thank you too, Summ. I owe you some money." I chuckled. She looked at me puzzled. "...What?"

"I know you were the one who bought me my drumsticks. Thanks." I replied. "No problem. You don't owe me any money. I probably had to buy you one sooner or later since I, uh broke your last ones." Summer shrugged.

"It's fine, Summ. But what was that about anyway? You were like a madman!" I laughed. Summer began laughing hysterically as well. We finally arrived at Summer's doorstep.

After a quick greeting with Mrs. Hathaway, I flashed Summer a smile and went home.
