{12} Summer The Nice Gal

Okay guys, before you read this chapter, I just wanna remind you, don't forget to read the author's note!

The searing hot liquid was all over her PJs. "Ow!" Summer wailed in pain. "I am so, so, so sorry." I apologized. I took a napkin from Summer's sink and helped her wipe her clothes, eventually I gave the napkin to Summer. Tomika came back through the door holding two packets of sweeteners. Her jaw dropped when she saw Summer.

"What happened?" She asked in a high tone. "I spilled the coco all over Summer," I informed her. "My coco!" she yelled. "Yeah, cause obviously the fact that your coco was wasted is definitely the most important. Yea- you don't even have to care about the fact that it was scorching hot and all over me." Summer remarked sarcastically. Rolling her eyes. Tomika moaned. "Yeah, yeah. I'm sorry."

We helped Summer clean off the hot chocolate. Then I left the room so that Summer could change clothing until she called me back in. I sat down at the chair next to the rounded table.

"So, what are we gonna do?" I asked. "Let's practice!" Summer suggested. "Practice?" she nodded in response. "I wanna show you guys something. But please don't tell anyone," she said.

She walked into her closet, then rummaged through drawers and some boxes until she took something out. A guitar?

"Sweet guitar, Summ!" Tomika pointed out. "Thanks!" Summer thanked, chuckling. "Are you gonna play for us?" I questioned. "Yup!"

"Oh, Mrs. Potatohead tell me. Is it true that pain is beauty? Does a new face come with a warranty. Will a pretty face make it better?" she sang. As she sang the song, I could really feel the connection between her and her audience. I had no idea Summer could sing that well.

After she finished, we gave her a round of applause.

"Summ, that was incredible!" Tomika praised her. "It was nothing," Summer shrugged. "No, you have talent! Why have you never said anything before?" I asked.

"I-I don't know. I just didn't think that it should be out there." Summer replied. "Summ, you have to show everyone this! People deserve to know your talent!" Tomika said. "No! I can't do that.." Summer declined. "It wasn't a question," Tomika remarked, crossing her arms over her chest. "Fine,"

Tomika's POV

The next day at school, we were in Mr. Finn's class. "Alright guys. So today, I have no subjects and absolutely no idea on what to teach you." Mr. Finn blurted out. We all sighed. What were we supposed to do?

Just sit around and wait till the bell rang?

"Why don't we play a game or two?" Kaycee suggested. "Alright." Mr. Finn agreed.

We decided to play the ultimate gathering game. A game that is despised, yet loved at the same time. Have you guessed it?

Three words; truth or dare.

"Summer you go first!" Freddy shouted. "Alright. Mr. Finn, truth or dare?" she asked. "Dare," Summer's grin turned into a somewhat evil smirk. "That was a mistake,"Mr. Finn sighed. Summer leaned over to him and whispered something in his ear. His facial expression dropped. "I am not doing that!" he rejected. "A dare's a dare, Mr. Finn." Summer said. "Fine,"

Mr. Finn excused himself to go to the men's room.

"Summ, what did you say?" I asked. "Oh, nothing."

About ten minutes later, Mr. Finn came back into the classroom. Not wearing a jacket, and wearing a completely different shirt than the one he had on before he left. "Yay!" Summer squealed. She then whispered something in Freddy's ear. He began laughing his hair off. Not literally.

That would be terrible.

"Okay Mr. Finn, you know what to do." Summer said. Mr. Finn moaned, but he eventually nodded anyway. He leaned backwards on the chalkboard. Freddy took out  a rope and tied it around Mr. Finn's hips. "Guys, what if my face smashes on the floor and my teeth fall out?" Mr. Finn questioned. "That's unlikely to happen. We got this." Summer assured him. But Mr. Finn looked far from assured.

Summer grabbed some pie for her to hold as Freddy tied the rope to his hips. "And, three, two.."

"One!"

Freddy began frantically running around the classroom, dragging Mr. Finn all around with him. "O-Ow! Ow! OWWW!" Mr. Finn screamed. After a few laps, Freddy stopped right in front of Summer. Mr. Finn stood up in front of Summer.

"That..was..terrible." he grunted. "Phew, glad that's over." He spoke too soon. Just then, Summer smacked the pie she was holding onto his face.

All of us tried extremely hard to contain our laughter. He slowly wiped the pie off. "Okay. Now it's over."

"Remind me never to pick dare when Summer asks."

It was lunch time and our usual 'squad' sat down at the tables. "Summer, that dare was hilariously evil! Good stuff!" Kaycee said, high-fiving Summer. "Yeah! it was awful, but awesome at the same time!" Jaxon agreed. "Thanks guys!"

"Guys, I'm gonna go get some tissues." Jaxon excused himself.

"Well Summ, loved it!" I praised. "Thanks!" she replied. Then Freddy walked over along with Kale, Zack and Lawrence. We all sat down together. I was surprised we all fit.

"Hi guys!" Kale greeted. "Sup!"

Kaycee then motioned her hands around at Freddy. "Oh, that's right. Kale, this is Kaycee." Freddy introduced. "Kaycee this is my girlfriend, Kale."Kaycee leaned over the table and shook Kale's hand. "Nice to meet you."

"Alright, let's eat."

We all began shoving in spoons and forks into our mouths. Not like how you would imagine it though. We just started eating our food. "I'm back!" Jaxon said. I scooted over for him to sit down once again.

"Oh yeah, Kale, this is Ja-"

"Jaxon?"

Hold the phone.. KALE KNOWS JAXON!? Daheck? What do you guys think? How does Kale know Jaxon? Or was it just a wild guess?

So if you guys have watched Total Eclipse of The Heart, you'll know that Freddy now likes Summer. But some dude named Asher just had to enter the picture.

So, I wanted to know if you guys wanted me to include the Lock In on one of my future chapters. The Lock In is a sleep over at school (for those of you who haven't watched the episode yet). But It won't be exactly the same as the actual series. It'll have pretty much the same plot, but I'd add my own little twist to it ;)
