"Hey miss beautiful. Don't know what I'd do without you. My incredible.
Superhero woman you're so unbelievable."

"Well, the thing about garbage quilts is, you can't really tell when you're done." I jested as she chuckled along. "Oh hey, check it out," she said. Gesturing to the telescope beside her. "Whoa, the moon looks so red!" I remarked whilst looking through the telescope. "Yeah, it's called a blood moon," Summer informed me. "I didn't know you were into astronomy too!" I commented.
"Oh yeah, for a little while when I was 8. I wanted people to call me Cassiopeia, but they just called me peia. So..." she giggled and I laughed along. She looked through the telescope again. Her long blonde locks tingling caused by the wind. As she looked up, her brilliant blue eyes looked as if they had the universe in them. I swear I could've seen stars in them.
"Something different about you tonight." I said. To my somewhat compliment, she smiled a radiant one. "Oh hey! You should bring Kale up here. She'd probably really like it," she suggested. I scratched the back of my neck. "I don't know. She's so obsessed with saving the earth, I'm kind of afraid to introduce her to another part of the solar system." I joked.
"Come on, you should ask her before it's over." she encouraged. I nodded and made my way to the door. As I looked over my shoulder, I knew right then and there. That I had feelings for Summer Hathaway.

"Come on, Kale. Why won't you come see the eclipse with me?" I questioned. "Because I'm doing something important. I'm knitting sweaters for balding coyotes." she reasoned. I sighed. "Look, we've been doing things that you wanted to do ever since we started hanging out. This is something I wanna do." I confessed. "So, you've been pretending to like the things we do together? Why?" she asked.
"Because, if I didn't, we would've broken up a long time ago." I admitted. She widened her eyes. "What?" she blurted.
"Maybe it's time to be honest." Kale sighed. "Okay. Making coyote sweaters, seems crazy to me." I divulged. "Okay, stop being honest." she stopped me. "Maybe you should just find someone who already likes what you like. Eclipses and stuff." she urged. "I think you may be right." I said.
She was. I was glad she was easy to let me off the hook. I already had a person in mind. A wonderful person in mind. And it was time for me to go see her.
I ran up as quick as I could. Finding an entrance to the roof. I ran up the stairs as fast as I could possibly ever run. But when I opened the door.
I realized life was just much too cruel for me.
There she stood alongside Asher as he placed a jacket of some sort over her shoulders. She returned his gesture with a million dollar smile that I could never forget.
The cold air surrounded me and the warmth of the night seemed to disappear. I could practically hear my heart cracking. Maybe I had feelings for her this whole time, but I never realized. I was too little, too late.
I slowly backed away from the sight as my heart shattered. I opened the door and exited the roof. Heartbroken.
I sat on the stairs and looked downwards. The darkness spiraling towards the bottom of the stairs. I ruffled my hair in frustration. And I never mess up my hair. From the slick gelled up hair do, it turned into some kind of disheveled mess.
Again. Too little, too late.
But no. I wasn't gonna let this get in the way. I had always gotten the girls I wanted as easily as possible. Maybe it had finally been time for me to fight for the girl I like.
Maybe I wasn't too little, too late after all.

Omg I'm soooo sorry for not updating in like what, a week? I decided I had to get a new chapter up. I'm sorry it's short. I just felt like I had to end it on that note. The next chapter will focus mainly on Freddy and Summer's relationship. And a little bit of Kale's after light. In a lot of the Fremmer fanfics that I've read, Kale is mostly an evil character. But in the show, she's impossibly nice, and I honestly love her character. So don't worry, she'll also get her own happy ending. After this chapter, you're gonna have to be a little patient with character development. I hope you'll stick with me :)
I wanna do a little promotion again hehe.
So if you're looking for some covers, you can head on to my new cover shop! I try my best XD And I'm also releasing a NEW book soon. So keep an eye on for that. It's not a fanfic but you might find it interesting. Anyways, thanks for reading. Bye!
