"Hermione, wait!" I screamed as she rolled her eyes.
"Come on!" She yelled back as I ran with her to class. Our first class was Muggle Studies and Arithmancy, we had already finished the class and went back to get Divination out of the way. We were already late. We ran all the way down to the North Tower. I carried my books close to my side as I ran down behind her.
"Why can't we just go back five minutes ago with the time turner?" I groaned, "were using it for our last two classes."
"And that's why McGonagall gave it to me, not you," she said as she stopped and pondered. "But it would be great to see Ron and Harry before class."
"So use it, lets see what this baby can do!" I shouted as she put the strap around me. She turned the turner half a time as we went back. I could see many of my fellow classmates going down behind me. Even Draco. I sighed as it stopped.
"So we wait then?" I asked.
"We wait," she laughed as we sat on the steps and looked up.
"We got this," I smiled," I mean this year, it's going to be great! We have advanced classes, we have that time-turner for all the studying we want, and all the sleep we want, and all the time we want to hang out we want."
"But you can't be in five places at once," she groaned.
"Only sometimes," I sighed.
"Now, I do want to be able to sleep more on what day was it- Wednesday?"
"The day after we have astrology?" She asked as I nodded.
"I need sleep, Hermione," I groaned, "if I don't sleep I get angry."
"I know, I have seen you," she laughed. Were we bonding? Was this what was happening?
"How long till you think students will be here?" I asked as she shrugged.
"I don't know the time," she said as I sighed.
"We could go on ahead and see if there's anything we can do," I said.
"I'm sure she doesn't need us."
"Oh," I nodded as I heard the Great Hall doors open.
"Won't be long now," I said putting my arms behind my head and relaxed. I watched the clouds roll by as I looked at Hermione.
"Has Harry and Ron said anything about your schedule?" I asked.
"They're incredibly dimwitted," she laughed, "Ron thinks I won't be able to get my work done."
I heard some laughs as I finally sat up. I brushed off the back of my robe and looked at Hermione.
"Let's wait here for Harry and Ron," she said as I nodded. I was waiting for Liza in all honesty. I couldn't tell her what all was going on, but I could tell her how many classes I had if it was easy for Hermione it's easy for me.
The first of the class came down to us. I saw Draco walk up and smile at me as I returned it. His posse walked up and tried to keep a conversation going. I heard a huff as I heard Liza run up the tower.
"Freak!" I looked over to her as she fell the floor. Parkinson.
I walked to Liza and helped her up.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"I'm fine," she muttered as I looked at Hermione. We exchanged looks telling me I should go on. I couldn't leave Liza alone.
We climbed up the ladder to get to the room very quietly and walked to a table in the room. The crimson color made me sick to my stomach. It was a closed in space, all windows were shut and the curtains closed. Many lamps draped from the ceiling above our heads.
