I awoke on my bed and sat up fast. Today was the Gryffindor vs Slytherin game. I need to go see Freddie before the game started. I quickly got dressed up and put my hair up in a silver scrunchy.
I made my way down to the Great Hall to see Fred sitting at his table eating breakfast. I put my arms around his neck. He chuckled as I kissed his temple.
"Good morning, Freddie!" I said as I sat next to him.
"Good Morning, Beautiful," he said.
I smirked, "ready for today?"
"You all are going down!" He said as I stuck out my tongue.
"You wish, Weasley,"
"Oh, you're on, Potter!"
"Get a room you two!" George said as I laughed and hugged him.
"You're oddly happy," he said.
"I just woke up on the right side of the bed!" I grinned," plus I know Slytherin's going to win!"
"You wish," Fred said.
"Nope, I know," I grinned," Anyway, you boys enjoy your breakfast, prepare to loose to your girlfriends by lunch! And when you loose you must shower us in compliments!"
"You're on! And if we win, you two get to pay for the next date!" They both said as I grinned. I walked to my table and ate some oats. As Harry walked in I saw Cho walk by him and say something. I rolled my eyes at her. Stuck up.
Soon the rest of my team made their way to get breakfast. I smiled. Sure Harry's broom may be faster and more expensive, but I had hope. Plus, I could fly faster than him anyways no matter what broom I was on.
After eating I headed to the locker rooms after grabbing my broom of course. I rode the broom all the way to the locker rooms. I never felt so light. The world was just a big ball of greatness. Soon the whole team got there and Marcus was pacing in front of us thinking of what to say. I laughed to myself as he looked to me.
"Have anything to say?" He asked concern.
"Nope! Just happy!" I grinned as the whole team looked at me oddly.
"Why is she-"
"She's jinxed!" Derrik exclaimed.
"No, I'm not, I just know we're going to win," I smiled.
"And how's that?" Draco asked.
"Two of the boys on the Gryffindor team have girlfriends on Slytherin team," I smirked," girlfriends they won't wish to hurt, right Liza."
She let out a laugh.
"True!" She said.
"That's the beaters, both of them are out if you hide behind us-"
"Aren't we using our boyfriends?"
"Not technically," I said,"not intentionally. It's just their character."
"Not to mention, the seeker is your brother, who also has a Firebolt!" Marcus said worried as I shrugged.
"Look, I got this!" I smiled.
"You got this? Oh, Nova, I could kiss you!" He screamed as I laughed.
"How about you kiss Draco's cheek and we'll call it even!" I smiled as he shook his head.
"I'm good about kissing Malfoy," he laughed.
We walked to the fields to a loud range of voices. Three-quarters of the stadium were wearing scarlet rosettes, waving scarlet flags. A quarter was waving green flags and wearing green everywhere.
