It had been another long summer with the Dursley's. Harry and I were still locked away in a tower, Hedwig locked up in a cage. Geronimo still at Hermione's for the summer holidays like we had made arrangements, our bars were gone and the window was fixed since the boys pulled the window out. I sighed and looked to Harry.

"Could you put that light out? I'm trying to sleep," I whispered as he moved the blanket off his head.

"Nova, I need to-"

"Study," I sighed. "Why not ask me? I possibly know everything in the book by now."

"Well, what's something in the book?" He asked as I rolled my eyes.

"What page are you on?" I asked.

"176," he said.

"Well, do you want to know that back in medieval times, if a Muggle- or a no-mag in America if you wish- would burn witches on a stake. To get out of the first some witches would perform a basic Flame-Freezing Charm and then pretend to shriek in pain while enjoying it a little. One witch enjoyed it so much, she made herself get caught no more than 47 times in different-"

"Nova, how do you know that?" He asked.

"I read, so what," I laughed, "I have a life when I'm not with you and Fred."

"Speaking of Fred, have you heard anything tonight?"

Fred was in Egypt, with the rest of his family. At night he would send me letters since he would be busy in Egypt all day, while I sent it first thing in the morning. It was a nice thing to fall asleep to and wake up to. I bit my lip.

"Not yet, Harry."

"Then where's that bloody bird," Harry said walking to the window.

"Errol gets confused sometimes," I laughed, "He'll be here soon."

He looked to me to see I was unsure of myself.

"Any word from Liza?" He asked.

"She's visiting her grandmother," I laughed, "her grandmother lives in Africa."

"Oh, that must be nice for her," he said as I shrugged.

"Nova, why are you worried?" He asked putting his hand on my shoulder.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You're worried about something, you're not looking at me when I'm talking, you're hugging your knees-"

"These powers Harry," I lied. This was equally just as making me worried, but the branding on my ankle had more to do with it then the powers, "I'm scared I won't be able to control them."

"What else have you been able to do?" He asked.

"Well other then magic without a wand, my eyes turn colors, I can talk to almost every animal- not only snakes, I can sometimes levitate."

"Levitate?" Harry said as I sighed.

"I found myself doing it a couple of days ago, I was sleeping," I sighed, "I was having a dream I was flying and when I woke up I was touching the ceiling."

"Nova-" he started, "I didn't know."

"Not to mention, I can flip through a book at top speed and read and understand the whole thing, that's a gift."

"That's how you passed Snape's class," he said.

"No that's happened recently," I sighed, "how do you think I finally finished Hogwarts a History?

"I barely made it through the first page," he chuckled.

I looked out the window to see a darker bird.
