Homecoming

Matt and Enchong found Xian running up to them the next day.

"In a hurry?" Matt asked.

"No. Guys, I need your help!" Xian said trying to catch his breathe.

"Sure. What is it?" Enchong asked.

"Well, uhmm... uh.. I.. I kinda wanna ask Kim for homecoming but I don't know how.."

Enchong and Matt looked at each other and laughed at their best friend, "Dude, you are so slow! You didn't hear?!"

"Hear what?"

"Kim is going with Enrique!"

Xian's eyes widened, "WHAT! I thought they are only friends?!"

"Yeah but that doesn't mean it can't turn into something. I mean look at you, you want to ask her for homecoming too."

Xian sighed and his face turned into disappointment, "Well, I guess my date will be the TV and the couch on homecoming night."

"No no no!" Enchong said, "You are gonna go! We are gonna help you find a date and so that maybe you can make Kim jealous!"

"How am I supposed to find a date? Everyone is taken."

Enchong and Matt shrugged and started yelling, "HEY EVERY GIRL HERE THAT DOESN'T HAVE A DATE YET FOR HOMECOMING WE HAVE A DESPERATE BOY RIGHT HERE LOOKING FOR ONE!"

"Guys, that is never gonna work--" Xian stopped at his words while girls say hi to him and Enchong and Matt left him alone.

Xian finally got a date and her name is Skyler. It is the night for homecoming dance, everyone is getting ready for the dance. Maja and Erich are at Kim's house. Kim was still taking a shower while Maja and Erich are putting their make up.

"Maj, can you believe that Kim and Xi are not going together for homecoming?" Erich asked.

"No. I actually thought that they are gonna go together, but I guess not."

"I think they would be cute together..."

"No, we're not." Kim said going out of the shower. Maja and Erich was surprised she was listening.

"Then why the long face?" Erich asked.

"Huh? Nothing..." Kim said. She took out her blow dryer and dried her hair. After a few hours the girls were ready. Kim was wearing a pink casual dress. Maja was wearing a long blue green dress and Erich was wearing a a black long dress. Enrique, Matt and Enchong picked the girls up and went to the dance.

The Dance.

When they got there Kim imediately saw Xian with Skyler and had a jealous feeling and she doesn't even know why. Xian and Skyler came to their friends and greet each other,

"Hey guys! Kim, Erich, Maja you all look so pretty!" Skyler smiled while they all smiled back and said thank you to her.

"Hey Kim. You wanna go dance?" Enrique asked and that got Xian's attention to them.

"Skyler, you wanna dance?" He asked.

Soon everyone went to the dance floor but after a few minutes a slow song came and Kim told Enrique if she can just sit down because her legs hurt now.

"Kim, you want me to get you some snack or drink?" Enrique asked.

"Uhmm sure."

"Okay, I'll be right back."

Any minute, Xian came by Kim and sat beside her,

"Feeling lonely?" He asked.

"No, Enrique went to get some snacks. How about you? Where's your date?" Kim rolled her eyes.

"She went to the powder room."

There was a awkward silence between Xian and Kim, after a few seconds another slow song came. Xian got an idea.

"Kim? Do you wanna da--" He got cut off by Skyler though, "Hey Xi! You wanna go dance?"

"Uhh.. Sure.." Xian said looking at Kim while Skyler pulled him into the dance floor.

Any minute, Enrique came with their snacks and drinks, "Thank you!" Kim smiled.

With Skyler and Xian.

"Xi, I know girls shouldn't say this first but I don't wanna hide it anymore.. I really really like you and I was glad that you asked me for homecoming dance."

Xian looked at Skyler but he knows that he doesn't feel the same way, "Skyler... You're a great girl. Nice, pretty and has a great personality.. but my heart belongs to someone already. I'm sorry.." Xian said.

Skyler let go of Xian and just looked at him with disappointment.

"I'm sorry.. Excuse Me.." Xian said and walked out of the dance.

Kim saw Xian walked out and was about to go follow him but she decided she doesn't want to leave Enrique alone. Any minute, Maja, Matt, Enchong and Erich came by them,

"Guys, what happened to Xi?" Enchong asked.

"Why what happened?" Enrique looked at Kim and everyone else.

"He walked out of the dance and left Skyler."

Kim was quiet the whole time got up from her chair and walked out of the dance too. She went outside and saw Xian sitting on the footsteps in front of the doors.

"Hey.." Kim said and sat next to Xian.

"Hey.."

"What happened in there? Why did you walked out?" She asked.

Xian sighed and looked at the stars in the sky and his eyes dropped on his feet again, "Skyler told me she likes me but I told her I don't feel the same way."

"How come? She's nice, pretty..."

"Because my heart belongs to someone else.."

Kim felt her sadness again and jealousy but she still doesn't know why she is so affected when Xian says that to her, "Who's the girl?"

Xian finally looked up and looked into Kim's eyes, "You..."
