New Beginnings

"Uhmm..." There's nothing that can come out from Kim's mouth.

"Please?" Xian gave her a puppy dog eyes.

Kim sighed and nodded her head, "Fine!"

Xian smiled and got up from his chair and hugged her.

"Woah! What happened?!" Enchong asked.

"What Xi? Did Kim said yes to you to be your girlfriend?" Enrique teased them. Kim gave Enrique a disgusting look, "Girlfriend?! That won't happen in a million years!"

"SUS! You don't know Xian has a cr--" Enrique got cut off when he saw Xian staring at him with a warning look.

"Uhmm.. Nevermind!"

"So what happened?" Enchong asked again.

"Nothing. My best friend is back!" Xian said.

"Really?! That's great! That means all of us are friends forever now!"

Erich smiled while everyone gave each other high fives.

The next day, Maja, Kim, Enrique and Erich were walking down the hall. Xian and Matt came by and Xian smiled brightly when he saw Kim.

"Hey best friend!" He said while he put his arms around her shoulders.

"Can you please stop calling me that? Just Kim. Kim!" She said while she tried to take his arm off.

"Just because I gave a chance doesn't mean you can get close to me like this. I still have issues about you!"

"Whatever you two! Let's go to class before we are late!" Enrique suggested.

Maja, Enrique, Xian, and Kim have history together while Matt, Enchong and Erich have chemistry.

"Alright class. We are gonna be doing a project, I will be picking your partners and you get to work with them."

The teacher called their names and Xian who is so unlucky didn't get to be Kim's partner. Kim was partnered up with Enrique while he was partnered up with Maja.

"Class, you may sit with your partners and talk about what you are gonna do for your project."

Xian who was distracted the whole time wasn't listening to Maja at all.

"Hey! Xi?! Are you listening??" Maja said and looked at the direction Xian was looking at.

She smiled, "Somebody is jealous..." Maja said quietly to herself.

"No I'm not!"

"Well, stop looking at them! Any minute our project will be the history about your jealousy of Kim and Enrique!" Maja giggled, "Xi, we are all friends for a long time now. We all know Kim only looks at him as friends."

Xian sighed, "Yeah and she looks the same as me too."

"You know what?! Why don't you forget about them and let's start our research for our project? I want a good grade on this!"

The Library.

Maja was searching some books in the shelves and at the same time peeking at Xian who was staring on the other table at Kim and Enrique.

"Earth to Xian!" Matt said waving his hand in front of his face.

"Huh?" Xian looked at him.

Matt rolled his eyes and sat on one of the chairs, "Stop staring at her. She might melt!"

"Pshh! What are you talking about?"

"You know what you talking about."

"What are you doing here anyway?" Xian changed the subject to avoid more arguments.

"Doing homework duuh! Plus, Enchong and Erich is coming up here too. So why not hang out with all of you guys at the same time?"

Any minute, Erich and Enchong arrived and sat by them.

"Xi, go call Kim and Enrique to come and sit with us." Erich suggested. Xian looked at Matt giving him you-should-do-it look. Matt rolled his eyes and got up to call Kim and Enrique.

The whole time Xian and Maja were doing their research while Kim and Enrique does too. Enchong, Erich and Matt were doing their homework.

"Guys, did you hear about the homecoming dance?" Enchong said.

"Yeah, but I'm not going." Kim said.

"Why not?" Xian immediately asked her.

"Because. I don't wanna be lonely there. I bet Maja is going with Matt. Erich and Enchong are going together. I bet Enrique will have a date there's a lot of girls likes him and you will probably will have

one too!" Kim explained and started doing her work again to try to

avoid the subject.

"I should ask her to the dance..." Xian thought to himself...

Will Xian ask Kim to the dance?
