Surprise

Once they arrive into Xian's house, Maja texted Matt immediately telling him that they are outside. Everyone was ready for the party and everyone was excited on Xian's

reaction. Xian opened the door of his house and everyone shouted surprise to him. He smiled brightly and was shocked, "You guys did this?!" He asked.

"Yeah!" Maja said.

"Aww! Thank you guys!"

Everyone said happy birthday to Xian except for Kim and they started eating dinner. Kim was sitting at one of the couches holding something inside her bag, Erich

came and sat by her.

"What's that?" Erich asked.

"Huh? Nothing.."

Erich looked at her and smiled, "That's for Xian isn't?"

"Pssh! No!"

"Kim, aminin mo na! That's his gift isn't?"

Kim sighed, "Yes! But I don't know if I should give it to him."

"Of course you will! Come on!" Erich grabbed her arm and pulled her going to Xian but Kim stopped, "No. I'm just gonna put it in the table with the other gifts." Kim

said.

"No. It's better if you give it to him!"

"No! Please? Don't force me!"

Erich rolled her eyes, "Fine! But sooner or later I know you will give it to him!" Erich left Kim and she was looking at Xian with his other friends laughing. She started

walking towards to him little by little but soon stopped, "No! I shouldn't!" Kim turned around but then turned back around and saw Xian wasn't there anymore.

"Where did he go?" She thought. She turned around and looked around but any minute somebody came behind her.

"Lost?" A familiar voice said.

Kim turned around and saw Xian, they both looked at each other for a second but Xian broke the moment, "What's that?" Xian asked pointing at the gift that Kim is

holding her hands.

"Um.." Kim looked down and gave the gift to Xian, "For you." She said and walked away but Xian grabbed her arm to stop, "Kim.." He started, "Thank you!" He

smiled slightly and Kim nodded walking away from him with a smile on her face. The party went on but it ended early because they have school tomorrow. Kim went

home with Maja and Erich and the boys went home together. Kim knows Xian and her are not getting along yet but with the smile that Xian gave to her earlier, she

knows its a start of something new...

School.

Kim was early at her English class that morning and she was alone at their classroom, she was doodling on her notebook when Xian came in the classroom. They both

smiled at each other, "You're early." He said.

"Um. Yeah.." He sat on one of the chairs next to her and opened his notebook and doesn't even know what to do.

"Xian.." Kim started. He looked up and caught her eyes, "Alam ko nasaktan kita... Pero.. I just want you to know na, na gulat ako sa sinabi mo..." Kim explained.

"Kim, noon pa man. You're the only one that I loved. I saw, kahit nasaktan kita noon hindi ko yan sinasadya kasi alam ko ikaw parin ang para sakin and I know you will

forgive me someday on what I did." Xian said holding Kim's hand.

Kim smiled slightly, "I just want to start over again..."

"Me too." Xian smiled.

Kim and Xian both hugged each other and it was the right timing that the school bell rang and students filled the classroom.

"Sup guys?!" Enrique and Matt said tapping on Xian and Kim's back.

"Not much. Umupo na kayo before you get in trouble with Miss." Kim said.

The whole time Xian couldn't stop himself from glancing at Kim and she knows what he is doing. They were doing a worksheet when Xian glanced up at Kim again,

"Psst! Uy! Tama na yan! Parang ma tutunaw na ako sa mga tingin mo!" Kim whispered.

Xian blushed and looked down at his worksheet. The bell rang that day and it was time for lunch, Xian decided to catch up with Kim by her locker to walk with her,

"Kim, busy ka ba after school?" He asked.

"Um.. Wala naman bakit?"

"Gusto hang out tayo later?"

Kim smiled, "Hmm.. Saan?"

"Kahit saan mall? park? Kahit saan."

"Okay!" She smiled and Xian smiled back at her.
