Long Distance

NOTE: Hi everyone! I'm back! I finished my final exams! It was some kind of easy and hard! :) I hope I passed all of my classes! The grades are not posted yet but anyway, here's a new chapter! :D

In the states.

Xian woke up and check his phone and saw zero messages or phone calls. He sighed and got up to take a shower for new day and another day in school.

"Oh Xian! Good morning! I made you breakfast!" His mom smiled.

"Thanks ma! But I have to go." He took one piece of bacon and walked out of the door.

School.

"Hi Xi! How are you?" His friend Chris greet him by the front door of the school.

"I'm okay. How about you?"

"Great! Oh dude, my friends and I are hanging out later you wanna come?"

"Um.. It's okay. I'm good. Thanks though." Xian said and they both went to their class.

Philippines.

Kim went home that night, tired, she went to her bedroom and saw a note in her bed.

Kim,

     Meet us tomorrow at the park. 8am.

                                    -Barkada.

Kim crumpled the paper and threw it on the garbage and went to sleep.

She woke up the next morning with the loud bang. The barkada went into her room with angry faces.

"Ano ba nangyayari sayo?!" Maja said angrily.

Kim sighed and sit up in her bed, "Ano ba?! Natutulog pa nga ako!" She argued.

"Siguro na basa mo naman yung letter kagabi! Bakit hindi ka pumunta?!" Maja said.

"Ano ba?! Ano ba gusto nyo gawin ko?! Nakikita nyo naman na busy ako lagi, umuwi ako nang bahay pagod at na overslept ako!" Kim shouted, "You guys don't

know what is going through me right now! Alam nyo irita na irita na talaga ako!" Kim said and went out of her room.

"KIM!" Erich shouted from the top of the stairs.

"Kung ayaw mo na kami magkaibigan sabihin mo lang! Ginagawa naman namin lahat para mapa saya ka! Nandito kami para sayo pero ikaw yung tulak na tulak sa amin!

Bahala ka nga sa buhay mo!" Erich, Matt and Maja went downstairs and closed the door behind them leaving Kim in tears.

Enrique and Enchong came by Kim to comfort her,"Kim, we understand that you miss Xian and you feel lonely pero nandito naman kami." Enrique said.

"I'm sorry! Sorry talaga!" Kim said and hugged Enrique while crying.

"Don't worry Kim, hindi kami galit sayo." Lauren said.

"Salamat guys ha!" Kim smiled.

Later that day, Enrique, Enchong and Lauren decided to keep Kim company at her house.

"So Kim, kamusta na yung coffee shop mo?" Enchong asked.

"Okay na okay! It's going to open next week na nga eh!" Kim smiled giving them snacks.

"Talaga? Dalhin mo naman kami doon!" Enrique said.

"Siga ba! Gusto nyo ngayon na?" Kim said and they all agreed to check out her coffee shop.

Kim drove them to her coffee shop and showed them the inside that is almost finished.

"WOW! Ang ganda! Dito na talaga kami mag ha-hang out!" Enchong said.

"You better!" Kim laughed, "Thank you guys! Eto na talaga! My own business!" She said and took a deep breathe.

She also took them upstairs where there's a little balcony that you can sit and eat there too. Enchong and Enrique are pretty excited for it to be open and Kim felt so

proud to herself that she made this, but even though it's like that she still felt sad about her feud between Maja, Erich and Matt right now.

That night, Kim was in her laptop in her living room and her t.v. was on to one of the shows that she usually watch and then cries about it. She sighed and closed her

laptop. She watched her show (Walang Hanggan) and tears started running down through her cheeks. "Hay! Ang love life talaga!" She said to herself.

"Mabuti pa nga si Katerina nandyan parin ang mahal nya!" She said and wiped her tears.

She turned the t.v. off when her phone rang, "Hello?" She sniffed.

"Kim? Are you okay?" It was Xian.

"Xi? Yeah... Look, I have to talk to you..." She started.

Xian got worried from her voice, "What is it? You are kinda scaring me."

"Xi, ayoko na."

"Huh? Hindi kita maiintindihan." He said and got worried more.

"Xi, I'm sorry but I cannot have a long distance relationship. Ayoko na, miss na miss na kita pero hindi ito mag wo-work out." Kim said; crying.

"Kim, please don't do this. Please, I miss you too pero--"

"I'm sorry." She whispered and hung up the phone.

Xian dropped his phone from his hand and tears started to run down his smooth cheeks. He took his book and threw it on the wall,

"Xian? Ano nangyari?" His mom came in to his room.

"Wala na ma, wala na kami ni Kim!" He said crying beside his bed.

"Shhh." His mom said hugging him.

With Kim.

The next day, she went to her coffee shop feeling so depressed.

"Good morning ma'am!" Her workers said.

"Morning!" She smiled slightly and went by Lauren who is trying to figure out what else is missing.

"O Kim! Nandyan ka na pala! Eto o, coffee." Lauren said.

"Salamat."

"Ok ka lang? Ano nangyari?"

"Wala na kami ni Xian." Kim said.

"Ano?! Bakit?"

"Ayoko na kasi nang long distance. E halos hindi ko na nga siya nakakausap!" Kim said and went by the workers.

After a week, Kim finally opened her coffee shop. Her business went well and with Xian he still feeling sad but he is trying to do everything to make sure his education

is still in a good shape and make sure to continue his life even though he is feeling so heart broken and depressed...
