T H I R T E E N

It was our third day in a row spent on the New Jersey beach together.

To say me and Ethan were beach bums was an understatement.

I was was waist deep in freezing cold water with the waves gently bashing up against my legs. My wetsuit protected me a little but my bottle lip was still shivering.

"Cmon babe, one more try" Ethan said, as I agreed climbing back onto the surfboard.

"I'm horrible Eth" I laughed, "I don't think one more try is going to help anyone"

"You got this" he said, placing his strong hands on my hips, pulling me closer to him as he placed a sweet kiss on my neck, tickling me with his hot breath.

I sprang into action when I saw an upcoming wave, trying to remember everything Ethan taught me. I stood up on the board, staying on for a few seconds before flying into the water.

I swam above the surface laughing as Ethan joined me a few seconds later, with his beautiful smile.

He flipped his wet hair off his forehead and I stepped closer to him, running my hands over his toned chests and firm abs. He leaned in, kissing me before tugging at the string of my wetsuit.

He exposed my black and white top and pulled me in for another kiss, as I couldn't help but smile as he pulled away.

"Cmon lets get you out of the water before you freeze" he said, placing his large hand on the small of my back as he followed me out of the water.

As we made it to the sand, Ethan sprinted passed me like an idiot, before I lost him over the small hill. I kept walking looking down at my feet, so I didn't notice when a heavy mass wrapped a towel around me and knock me to the ground.

I was belly laughing as Ethan's warm body was pressed down on top of me, as he trapped me in the towel.

"You're such an idiot" I say as Ethan leaned over me, entrapping me with his strong arms.

He placed his lips against mine. His skin tasted like the water and I felt the sand stuck all over his body.

"Blair, I ugh I have to tell you something" Ethan said, making me nervous. He yanked me up off the sand with one arm till I was standing.

Damn he was so strong.

"But I think it would be best if we went back to the house, so Gray can help me explain too" he said, guiding me to his truck.

"Alright, ya that's fine" I smile at him, trying not to expose my curiosity.

"You're WHAT?" I say, shaking my head in disbelief at my two favourite boys.

"I know, I know it's crazy but we have to" Gray said, trying to make the situation better.

"Babe, it will be fine. We will be ok" Ethan said, stroking his thumb over my hand.

"How long have you known?" I said sharply, biting back the tears.

"Babe"

"Ethan" I say, looking up into his eyes with such fire, he got the message.

".....two weeks" my heart sank. I didn't understand why he didn't tell me.

"So you've known that's you're gonna be leaving me for 2 MONTHS for international tour and you didn't think it would be a good idea to tell me?"

"I'm so sorry B, I wasn't thinking" Ethan said gently, with a look of sadness in his eyes.

Tears were streaming down my face at this point. That I would be without a boyfriend for 2 months. Without a friend for 2 months. They would be travelling the world, while I would be stuck here.

"It's fine, it will be ok" I said to myself out loud, just needing to hear those words a few more times to believe them.
