I was sprinting to catch up to Loren as we left the venue.

"BEST. DAY. EVER." Loren said, panting slightly after sprinting around so enthusiastically.

"I'm glad you had fun," I say, placing a hand on her shoulder "Now let's go find your mom"

After a few minutes of searching the busy parking lot, we manage to find Aunt Rene, piling into the back of the SUV.

I plugged in my headphones and tuned out the world. I couldn't help scrolling through my camera roll over and over again admiring the pictures Loren took.

Other than the fact that I look terrible in all of them, the pictures were amazing. My eyes fanned over each one, admiring Ethan's muscular arms holding me up, his beautiful smile, his perfectly messy hair. Everything.

Just like Loren, it was one of the best days of my life too. But I wasn't going to admit that to her.

"Hunny, wake up, we are back at the hotel" Aunt Rene said, gently shaking my shoulder as my eyes slowly opened.

I looked around confused before hopping out of the car and walking to our room. We got back late and I was exhausted from my horrible sleep last night.

The moment my head hit the pillow I was gone.

And for the first night in a long time..... I didn't have a nightmare.

Instead I dreamt of a handsome boy, that I was starting to get dangerously close to liking.

I rolled over at 9:00 am with a smile on my face. Yesterday was a good day.

As I stretched my arms across the sheets and slowly got up, adjusting my messy hair, I saw my Uncle Andrew struggling to calm down my baby cousin, Cody.

"Thank goodness you're up" he said looking panicked. "Do you mind taking Cody and singing to him? I know he loves hearing your voice"

"Ya sure" I say rolling off the bed, extending my hands and embracing Cody in my arms. I shoved a hotel key into my sports bra and walked out of the room.

I needed to find somewhere where no one could hear me. Which was going to be difficult in a hotel.

I toddled through the lobby with my messy bun, baggy sweater and revealing pyjamas shorts which I probably should have changed out of before leaving the room. But I had a screaming baby in my arms.

I rounded a few corners and made a few turns before I found a meeting room with large oak doors. I walked up, assuming that it would be locked, but the door slid open and I happily stepped inside, closing the door behind me.

I ran out of ideas about what to sing, so I decided to sing my parents wedding song.

I took a few deep breaths and began to sing, rocking Cody back and forth in my arms and shuffling around the room. (I pictured her voice similar to Samantha Harvey's and there is a video above if you wanna play it (: )

He instantly began to calm down, and it wasn't long before his big blue eyes were contently staring up, just listening to me sing.

I finished the sing before shuffling back towards the door.

I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw that the door had been opened. I continued to turn my head around the room when I saw the last two people I wanted to see.

"Nice pyjamas" Grayson mocked, giving me a once over.

"Thanks...." I say hesitantly

"Um. How long exactly have you been standing there for?" I asked, hoping I would hear some good news.

"About how long you were singing for" Ethan spoke up.

" you know it's not very polite to ease drop on people when they are unaware of your presence" I smile back, trying to make this less awkward for myself.

I never sing in front of anyone, let alone famous people.

"Technically we can" Ethan said, giving me his best "matter of factly" face, "we booked this room for 9:30 for a tour meeting, so you were invading our space"

"Oh sorry I had no idea, I was just looking for an empty room cause my cousin gets really agitated and needs to be calmed down, but i had no where to go. And I -"

I was really rambling, but I always do when I'm nervous.

"I was kidding, it's totally fine, don't worry about it" Ethan smiled, stepping towards me and bending down to look at Cody.

"He's super cute" he said, brushing his hand gently over Cody cheek then making a funny face, causing Cody to burst into a giggle.

And he was good with kids. Swoon.

"Um I'm really sorry, I should be going, I need to uh brush my teeth or something" I say, cringing at myself for how awkward I was acting.

I looked down at the floor and shuffled towards the door.

"By the way, Blair" Ethan said, as I whipped my head back around.

"You have one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard"

I smiled so wide I think my face was going to fall off, as I gave a small wave out the door and called out a "hopefully I'll see you soon"

Because I did really hope I would. Even though I knew I shouldn't want to.

Sorry for not updating for a really long time, but I was busy with school. I am currently on winter break so I'll try and write as much as I can!
