TWO WEEKS LATER

It's true what everyone says about love. It can be found in the strangest of places.

I never expected to fall in love with Ethan Dolan and I certainly didn't expect to have my heart broken over the course of 2 short days.

Back in my hometown of Neptune, New Jersey, I felt empty. I needed something to distract me, something to make my life normal again.

"Hey Aunt Rene? I was thinking maybe I could go back to a regular high school for my grade 12 year" I asked sceptically across the kitchen table, pretending not to make a big deal of it.

"Of course honey, whatever you think is the best for you" she said, giving me a sweet look, "I'll sign you up for the local public high school a few blocks away"

ETHAN'S POV

Summer was winding down and I still hadn't found her again.

After that night, Blair just disappeared. I couldn't stop thinking about her.

I was back in New Jersey with Grayson because tour had just ended. Our mom is making us stay home for a few weeks just to relax after a crazy few months.

I wasn't complaining though, because it would give me lots of spare time to search for her. I would drive around  the whole state a few times just to talk to her again.

I logged into my Twitter pointlessly scrolling through, before hitting the pen and composing a tweet.

@ethandolan : I hope you don't mind, that I put down in words how wonderful life is now that you're in the world

I pressed tweet before I couldn't even think about it.

After that night Blair deactivated Twitter anyway, so she would probably never see it.

I rolled over, and after feeling sleepy, I  decided I would look for her tomorrow morning after a good night sleep.

BLAIR'S POV

It was my first day back at high school and I was kinda nervous. I just wanted people to like me, or perhaps just not acknowledge me at all.

Before running out the door to catch my bus I quickly scrolled through my phone. I deleted my Twitter but I made a fake account just to keep up with my friends from back home and stuff.

Then I saw it. Ethan tweeted song lyrics.

The song I sang to Cody what seems like ages ago at the hotel. My parents wedding song. Sung by the voice he said he loved.

I couldn't help but to smile heading off to the bus.

The day went by terribly slow, but my classes were fine and I only got minimal stares from everyone, which was good.

I was walking out to the parking lot, swirling the keys to my car around my thumb when I stopped dead in my tracks.

My knees felt weak and I suddenly got really hot. I felt like I was gonna pass out. Only one human effects me like that.
