The weeks went by, and the weeks turned into months.

My life has only been getting better since the accident and I have one person to thank.

His beautiful eyes are the reason I wake up in the morning and his smile is the source of my happiness.

It's been a almost a year since that party, and I'm a week away from graduating high school. I have no idea what I want to do but I think I'll take a gap year and travel the world with my best friend. Seems like a pretty good reward for surviving four years of torture.

I fiddled with my MacBook key pad trying to place my order for my gown as Ethan's strong arm was draped over me on my bed, contently focused on watching the screen. He was only wearing grey sweatpants so I could feel the heat coming off of his exposed body.

I pressed submit and all of a sudden the Ethan jumped up and rolled over me gracefully, scaring me with his sudden movements.

"Eth?" I laugh, wondering what he was doing

"Blair Hastings" he said dramatically in an announcer voice flinging his arms for extra flare.

"I know you're gonna be graduating soon, moving on with your life. And I hope that I can be apart of that life forever. You're my best friend, soulmate and my sexy ass girlfriend and I want to be by your side for the next 40 years.... 70 years.... 100 years! Hell they might as well put our graves beside each other"

"Ethan!" I laugh

"It's me and you babygirl" he says reaching into his pocket and pulling out a huge ring.

"Don't freak out, I'm not proposing..... Yet" he winked at me.

"It's a promise ring... It's my promise for forever" he smiled.

He slid the ring onto my finger and I pulled my hand up admiring the diamond as it sparkled. It was simple and defined, but nothing crazy overboard.

It was perfect. My life was now perfect. Ethan Dolan acting like an idiot in my room with sweatpants and a giddy smile is perfect.

Forever is a long time, but I think I could manage it with him.

Sorry I haven't written in a long time and kinda just ended the story really abruptly but I honestly had no idea where to take it.
