"I hate this. I hate this. I hate this. I hate this," I keep repeating over and over, "I hate this. I hate this. I hate this."
I mean, who else wouldn't hate having to sit in the middle between an older brother and a younger sister in a cramped moving van? Of course Gracie, my little sister, isn't doing much. I can tell she's bothered too.
I continue on with my groaning.
"I hate this. I hate this. I hate this. I hate this. I hat-"
"Aidahn, shut up." My brother Liam says with a bunch of intentional voice cracks, "I can't hear the Bee Movie with all of your complaining."
"Sorry, I didn't know you were watching that. I'm just so upset about moving from our old house to this new one. We have had such great memories at our old house." I respond.
"Like you almost killing me by throwing a toaster into the bathtub?"
"Yeah. Like that."
"Well, I'm glad we're moving. Our old school sucked and I'm so glad to start over."
"Oh please. Just keep watching the Bee Movie, I'm not in the mood."
"If you say so."
I wish I had Liam's optimism about this situation.
Oh well, I guess I'll just fall asleep and wait and see.
