Aidahn X Judy Hopps: A Highschool story.

Maybe...I could be one?

After school,  I go to the library near the pawnshop. I text Liam to pick me up at 7:00 as I open the door to the library. I go to the computer and look up "furry."

Results:

The good, the bad, and the furry : Tom Cox

Green Fairy : Kyell Gold.

I click on Kyell Gold, and see where the book is located.

"Gol..." I repeat to myself in my head. 

I go to the "Gol" section of the library and take down four of his books "Out of Position," "Waterways," "Green Fairy," and "Isolation Play."

I start to read Waterways and I soon hear the voice on the intercom.

"Ten minutes until closing time."

I get up, take my library card out, and check out all four of the books I grabbed.

I wait outside of the library until I see Liam's car pull up. Liam is blasting his annoying Hamilton music. I get into the front seat.

"What books did you get?" He says, turning off his music so he can talk to me.

"Oh...Nothing." I say. 

Shoot. I should have gotten a cover-up book.

"Oh c'mon," He begins to say "I'm really interested."

He pokes my arm and I lift it up to swat him, but it's too late. He grabs a book. 

I can hear him stifle a laugh as he holds my book.

"R-really Aidahn? Green Fairy? Oh god, wait 'till my friend hears about this." Liam pulls out his phone and starts to text somebody.

"Wait, Liam," I say while taking his phone. "First, don't text in drive. You got your license last year, don't lose it now. Second; Please don't tell anybody. I just wanted to see what it was about." 

"If you say so Aidahn, just give me my phone back."

I give him his phone back, and he plugs it in to play more of his bad music. 

After what seems to be about five minutes, Liam finally says something.

"So, how was school?" 

"It was okay I guess. I have a lot of homework to do, so I'll be in my room."

Which was a total lie, I do all of my homework at school. I just want to be alone to read some of the books. 

"Okay dude, if you need help don't ask me. I'll be watching ani- I mean Annie. I'll be watching Annie, I really love that movie. Mom is going to be making dinner downstairs, pasta tonight."

"Alright Liam. Do whatever. Tell mom I'll be doing homework."

"Okay."

We drive the rest of the car ride in silence.
