"Hey Liam, you going to Becky's party?" I ask Liam, on our way back to school.
Liam replies. "Yeah, I'm only going because my friends are going."
He pulls into our garage and I sit down and read more from my books. Soon it's dinner.
Our mom looks like she has a big lecture for us at the table.
I was right.
"Now boys, I don't want any drinking, smoking, or sex done at the party. You got me? People get their lives ruined at these parties and go through a lot of drama you can't be one of those kids. Okay?"
We both nod our heads in agreement.
After dinner, I get in Liam's car.
"Have fun!" Our mom says, waving us goodbye.
Liam drives away.
"So, are we going to do all three of those things or what?" He says
"What?"
"Kidding, kidding."
