Er! Er! Er! Er! Ugh, I've been hearing the same thing for the past few hours. What even is it? Opening my eyes for the first time today, I saw my alarm clock and I finally figured out what that annoying noise was.
"Crap! I'm so late so, so late." My clock read 11:23. (A/N their school starts at seven)
I ran to my closet and put on my usual atire. Too worried about getting ready for school, I forgot to tie my hair in their usual pigtails.
I grabbed a croissant, ran out of the school, and got their as fast as I possibly could.
The more I ran, the heavier I would breathe, the heavier I would breathe, the more worse thoughts I would get, the more bad thoughts I got, the faster I ran.
Busting through the door, everyone looked at me, but not in their usual, 'Marinette is late' look, but more like a 'Wow, she looks different' look.
"Alright people, she isn't a circus attraction! Leave the poor girl alone."
Thank goodness that Alya is in my third period class. Speaking of, we probably have two or three more minutes of class.
Alya and I sat down and everybody kept staring until someone said, "Wow Mari, you look hot with your hair down."
I blushed at the comment that came from the person in my class. I've never been called hot or anything of that nature.
Luckily, like some cliche movie, the bell rang before anyone else could say something.
As I was walking down the hallway, I saw Mr. Fu looking at me for a bit before he smiled and nodded approvingly at me. Well that was strange.
I continued walking towards my locker and put my things away so that I could do to lunch. Alya stopped by my locker and we both waited for Mimey. When he got there, he stared at me and said, "No wonder everyone was talking about you today Mari, you look so,"
"Hot?" Some random guy finished for him. I turned and saw that it was a red haired guy that usually sits in the back of one of my classes I think. I was a bit taken back because this kid barely talks to anybody. Scratch that, he doesn't ever talk.
"Excuse me? I was actually going to say mature. Let's go guys." I was gladly going to leave with my BFFs, this guy was giving me the creeps. As I passed him, he wolf-whistled and I blushed.
The three of us hopped into the lunch line and picked up our food. When we sat down, Alya kept rambling on about how people should grow some respect for others, and how the red head had no right to treat me like that.
"Alya, for the thousandth time, it's okay. It didn't harm me in any way did it?" I stood up, lifted my arms, and did a three-sixty turn so she could check for injuries. "Oh my gosh! Mari what is that?!" I jumped and looked at where she was pointing.
"Oh never mind it was just a spot of gullible." I rolled my eyes at her and had to hold myself back from punching her.
"Hey Mimey, are you okay? You haven't been talking that much." He raised his head and sheepishly scratched the nape of his neck, "Yeah, I'm fine. Just.......lost in thought, that's all."
I nodded my head and took the last bite of my pizza before wiping my hands and throwing my plate away and putting my tray on the rack.
"You guys might want to hurry up before the bell-*ring* too late."
They threw their extra food away and put their trays away. We all walked together before Mimey broke off to go to his locker. It was my turn to break off and I waved goodbye to Alya.
