The New Neighbors (Niall Horan fanfic)

Chapter 10

Rose's P.O.V.

I woke up from my deep slumber startled. I was cold, yet there was a big, blue soft blanket covering me.

Oh god where am I?!

I wanted to scream then I realized my surroudpndings. I was in Niall Horan's house, on Niall Horan's couch, with Niall Horan's blanket. There's only one question...

Where's Niall Horan?

I looked around, checking my surroundings making sure he wasn't trying to scare me and it was empty. I started getting worried, what if something happened to him?!

God it smells so much like him, I inhaled this cologne. Then I realized it's the blanket, his blanket. The smell calmed me down, I started thinking about what's happened between us the past few days.

I was deep in. Thought when suddenly, I heard a cough and turned around to meet icy blue eyes.

"Morning"

Oh god he saw me smelling his blanket, he must think I'm a complete weirdo.

"Hey, where'd you go?"

"I woke up then went to get dressed. I was thinking, um would you maybe wanna hang out today?"

"S-sure"

"Great, meet you in- I'll just text you when I'm ready, sounds cool?"

"Yeah sure"

And with that, I ran out of the door.. That is until he called for me.

"Yeah?"

"Here, you can have my blanket, it seems like you really like it"

"Haha um sure, thanks."

I walked out of the door with a grin from ear to ear. I ran into my house and got dressed. I decided to go in a pair of dark distressed skinny jeans, my red toms, a white hoodie with a black tank top under it and my red beanie. Then I puts more light mascara and eyeliner in along with some shiny lip gloss. I took one look and loved my outfit. Then I texted him to meet me in about 5 minutes.

I quickly straightened my hair which only took about 2 minutes, then grabbed my phone, wallet and keys. Then I sprayed my favorite perfume, 'live, love, dream' by aero, god I love the smell.

I walked out and met him at his car. He said I smelled good which made my heart flutter. We decided on going to the mall and get lunch and go shopping since it's already 1:30 in the afternoon.

Once we finally got there, the delicious smell of food surrounded us. We got Nando's since it's our favorite place to eat. Weird right?

Once we got our food, I inhaled it because I haven't eaten anything all day. I didn't care what he thought, I was just hungry.

Then finally, when we were done, we went shopping. We headed over to forever 21 first. He helped me shop, weird but I kinda liked it. I ended up getting some new tops and a dress. Niall said I looked rather good in it. It was black and shaped my curves perfectly with lace sleeves. He ended up paying for it after a constant battle in who's paying.

After that, we were heading over to hot topic when I felt uncomfortable. I noticed out of the corner of my eyes that there were 3 guys looking at me hungrily. I just shrugged it off, I'm sure Niall didn't notice it.

We finally got into hot Topic and Niall and I split our ways. I was looking at some new tops while he was looking at some new sneakers. I felt a tap and turned and gasped. It's the 3 guys who kept starring at me. One of them had blue eyes like Niall but this guy's were cold and not warm like niall's. Another one of them had blue green eyes and the other one had brown eyes. They all had dark brown hair though. They were fairly attractive but dressed like douchebags. I ignored how they dressed cause I didn't really care.. That is until they opened their mouths.

"Hey gorgeous, wanna hang out? We could have some... Fun." They winked at me with a smirk. Ew just ew

Then the other guy spoke.

"Yeah baby, come home with us, we'd have a lot of fun. You'd love it." Then another smirk. Wow

"Um yeah no thanks guys sorry." I turned on the balls of my feet then started walking away when suddenly, I was pushed to the wall. Then I heard their voices again.

"No one says no to us baby. C'mon I know you want to."

I winced in pain then suddenly, someone spoke and I was happy. It was niall's angelic voice.

"Back off of her mates. She's mine."

They all just scoffed.

"Yeah and who the hell are you!"

"I'm her boyfriend so back the fuck off of my girl."

Then suddenly, his arm was off of my back and Niall took my hand.

We walked out of hot topic, not bothering on purchasing anything.

"Uh thanks Niall, means a lot."

"No problem Rose."

"Um can I ask you something?"

"Yeah sure"

"Why did you call me your girlfriend?"

"Oh um, no reason, just wanted to protect you from those dicks."

When he said that, I was a little sad but just smiled to hide it. I'm good at hiding my emotions.

After our little awkward conversation, it was weird but then we went back to his house to just relax.

I checked the time and it was about 5 pm. We suggested on watching some tv but it was quiet.

We were watching the Big Bang theory then he started talking about some random stuff. I went home soon after. And went to bed, replaying the incident at the mall.
