Chapter 20

Rose's P.O.V.

That name.. He was the only one who used to call me that, when we were together...

That voice... That voice that I once loved and trusted. It all came crashing down within minutes...

Niall pulled me behind him protectantly.

"Whoa big boy calm down, I'm just going on a walk with my new girlfriend..

Of course, The devil herself.. Brittany star...

She wore a skirt that barely covered her ass and a crop top that made it look like she mugged a child to get it. She also wore 10 inch heels. If I didn't know her, I'd mistake her as a prostitute on the streets.

"Get the fuck away from her, you have no right to even breath near her."

Niall sneered, venom dripping from each word he made out.

This only made cole's smirk grow, as well as Brittany's.

Niall was giving cole the death stare and I was giving Brittany the death stare too. Suddenly, she spoke up in her stupid little preppy voice.

"Puh-lease, why the fuck would cole wanna be near you when he can have me all he wants." And then cole grabbed her ass... Mentally barfing.

*cough whore cough* making me crack a smile, I turned around and noticed belle looking innocent like she didn't just call Brittany a whore. God this is why her and I are best friends.

Brittany's smirk soon turned into a scowl right after. HA serves her right.

"Whatevs, you're just jealous."

"Me jealous? Are you kidding me? I don't care what you do."

And with that, Niall and I walked the other way, away from them.

Niall held my hand protectingly the whole time. It was pretty cute in all honesty.

We all decided to grab some pizza and then go back to niall's house.

Niall and I shared a whole cheese pizza while we got two pieces of pepperoni for belle and mushroom pizza from zayn. Weird lol

Niall and zayn were just talking about sports while belle kept sneaking smirks to me.

After pizza, we all headed towards niall's house. We were just doing normal stuff, talking and messing around.

Then zayn had an idea

"Hey, do you guys wanna go to the beach?"

"Yeah man I'm up for it!"

"Yeah zayn, sure, doesn't that sound fun Rose? "

"Um... I don't know guys, it's already 10 pm and I have studies to do."

"Oh c'mon Rose!! It'll be fun!"

Everyone starring at me, waiting for my reply. I didn't wanna be the party pooper.

I sighed.. "Alright, fine.."

Belle squealed with joy while she engulfed me in her arms.

"Yay omg it's gonna be so fun!!"

"Belle, calm down, it's just the beach."

"Yeah but still!! You never do like anything bad."

"Pfftt I so do... One time, I um, I uh..."

The it hit me.. I've never done anything bad.

Niall just snickered at me while I slapped his arm playfully.

We were at the beach and everything seemed quiet. It was dark, really dark.

Niall just ran into the water, followed by zayn and belle and me.. Well I just sat by the shore.

"C'mon babe, it's fun!!"

"Niall, c'mon I don't wanna."

"Cmon, please babe?" Then he gave me his puppy dog face.

"Ugh Niall, fine."

I can't say no to him when he does the puppy face and he knows it.

He smirked in victory and I slowly made my way into the water.

I looked around and couldn't find Niall anywhere, I got scared.

"Niall? Niall??" Nothing.. No reply from the Irish boy.

Then suddenly, I felt something grab my ankle and pull. I screamed as my head went under the water. I struggled my way up and found Niall laughing his ass off.

"Niall shut up, I could've died u butt."

He was laughing so hard, he could barely make a sentence.

"I'm.....sorry.... It was....just so...funny."

"Haha real funny." I sarcastically remarked as I felt him wrap his arms around my waist.

I splashed water in his face and swam away as best as I could.

"Oh no you don't missy" he swam towards me and in no time, he grabbed me again and pulled me under.

I wiggled my way out of his grasp and swam to the surface while he followed me up. He held into me as I wrapped my legs around his torso. We looked into eachother's eyes. God I love his eyes, they always look so blue, even in the darkest of nights. Her grabbed the back of my neck and slowly leaned in as I did the same. We were so close to eachother's lips. Then suddenly, we were interrupteds.

"Um guys... You know we're still here?"

Belle interrupted and my face turned into a bright crimson as I looked to my right to see a smirking belle and zayn.
