I woke up to flashing, and whispering. I opened my eyes, only to come face to face, or face to chest with Liam. I pushed him away and he fell off of the bed, groaning. I looked up and saw all the other guys standing there, their phones out and taking pictures.

"Why were you in the same bed as me?!" I asked Liam, glaring at him.

"And what are you guys doing?" I asked, diverting my glare to them.

"Well, we were just gonna get the pup, but then we just had to take pictures. So... Bye!" they ran out the door with Loki and closed the door, locking it.

"Oh! And another thing, you're not coming out of there until you guys are together. Don't bother acting, or trying to break the window or something, it won't work!" Jake yelled.

I groaned and heard the guys walking away. I walked over to the door after getting a few things. I started to pick the lock, knowing I had to get to the gym. I heard the soft click and I turned, saying, "I'll come back later for Loki. I need to go do something."

I jogged down silently and got in my car, going to the gym.

[Liam]
"Why did you guys do that?" I asked, startling them. "And Mack picked the lock." I answered their unasked question.

They nodded and Dean said, "Well, you're taking too long. So we thought we'd help you. Where is she, by the way?"

I groaned and rubbed my eyes with one hand. "You should leave us alone. Don't help, and she quickly left to go do something and said she'll be back later. Don't help me, I'm fine."

"Dude, she's your mate and you're taking too long, we just wanna help. She's your mate..." Arron got cut off by squealing.

I looked towards the door and saw my parents standing there.

"Oh, my baby found his mate! Who is she? Do we know her? What does she look like? How is she? I bet she's wonderful..."

"Mom. Mom! She's amazing and you do know her. She was actually here last night for dinner." I answered and smiled.

"That's great son, Mack's a wonderful girl." my father said.

"No! She's wonderful, but she isn't fit to be a Luna. I'm not giving my title to a weak little human girl. Now, listen here son. When you see her, you're going to reject her and get a strong she-wolf as your mate." my mother said.

"I'm not rejecting my mate!" I said, angry. The guys has already left so we could talk.

"And that's the right thing to do son. You shouldn't reject your mate just because of what she is. You'll never truly be happy if you reject her, and even if you get another girl to mate with, your wolf would always want his true mate." - F (father)

"Don't listen to him son. You don't want her to get hurt, do you? Well, as a Luna she'll always be in danger and won't be able to protect herself. It's better to reject her. And you will be happy with someone else, look at your father and I. We aren't true mates, but we are happy and madly in love. Your father rejected his weak, human mate and he's happy." - M (mother)

"I don't want to reject her. But I don't want her to get hurt or be in danger... I'm not rejecting her, mom!" I said, my decision final.

My mom said something to my father too low for me to hear and he nodded. "Son, let's go for a walk. And we'll talk."

We went outside and shifted. He was a rusty brown colored wolf and I was a sandy colored wolf. Our wolves aren't necessarily the same color as our hair.

We ran for awhile until we got to a clearing. We shifted back behind different trees and then walked into the clearing and sat by the lake.

"Son..." my father started and I cut him off.
