[Mack]
I fainted, but can you blame me?

I looked around the room and saw him, Cenan, sitting there along with their parents and 3 others. 1 girl and 2 guys.

I locked eyes with Cenan and he smirked at me. I then looked at his other brothers, the three of them were triplets, they too, had smirks on their faces. I got up quickly, ignoring the protests from Rai and his parents.

I walked out onto the balcony, everyone following. I quickly climbed onto the rails and jumped into the tree. I climbed down and started to run, hiding my scent.

I was running really fast, getting further. I shifted and just ran. I can't believe they are back. I thought, hoped and wished to never cross paths with them again.

I'm sure after awhile of running that I crossed the border and into rogue territory. That was proven when I got tackled and bitten on the scruff of my neck. I quickly got out of his grip and turned to the wolf. Half his left ear was missing, he had a lot of scars and a deadly look in his eyes. He was feral.

He charged at me and lunged but I jumped just before he was on me. He swiped out his paw, leaving claw marks. I jumped on his back and sunk my teeth into his neck, snapping it when I used more pressure. I was on his back but my jaw was at his jugular cord.

When he was dead, I walked to a stream and shifted back. I looked down and saw the claw marks were on my cheek on the left side. My cheek was a mess of blood and dirt, so I washed it.

I sat at the small lake until the bleeding stopped and them shifted, running back. Just outside his territory, I shifted back to human and started jogging back to the house.

I was hardly 15 steps into the territory when wolves surrounded me. One left and went behind a tree, coming out minutes later with shorts on.

"Alpha is on his way and said to keep you here since he doesn't want anyone to be too close to you." the guy said.

I walked to a tree and sat against it, resting my head against it too, closing my eyes. I heard paws running full speed in our direction. I was tired and didn't look as I heard bones snapping and reshaping, then footsteps coming towards me.

I was pulled to my feet and Rai hugged me tight, nuzzling my hair. I heard everyone else leaving.

"Where were you? What happened? Why?" he asked.

"I'm sorry, I ran and crossed your territory borders, then was attacked by a rogue, getting saved by another. And it's personal." I looked away, feeling the burning from memory. I'm not some week little girl anymore and can beat them all.

Rai went behind a tree and shifted. When he came out, he was beautiful. He was white as snow and had silver eyes. He was about as large as a horse. He motioned me to get on his back and I did.

He was so soft. I held on tight and he took off. He ran through the forest, weaving around trees. I loved the wind and the speed. I wish I could change too.

I might tell him on a later time about what I am, but not now.

We got back to the house and he took me to the kitchen, looking at the claw marks. I don't need stitches, but it'll scar.

After he cleaned the wound, he picked me up bridal style and walked to the top floor. He opened another door and inside was an office. He sat on the big black chair behind his big desk and sat me down on his lap. He had one arm around me and another he was writing with.

The desk had two plush, red armchairs in front of it, a big leather chair behind it, we are sitting on it. The desk was neat and the computer was turned off. He had portraits and pictures around the room except the wall to my left, and in the one corner there were two black sofas facing each other with a glass coffee table between them.
