After the end of the score announcements I went to my room without dinner. I was furious. This girl on fire was about to literally be burned alive by the heat of my eyes. Forget what I said about Thresh being my first target. I was going for Katniss first. She had stolen my moment. And I would make her pay.

The next morning, I went to Cato's room and told him that we needed to target Katniss first. "I agree." he said. "We don't even know what her skill is, so we should definitely cut her off from everything in the cornucopia. Then we can hunt her down. She won't be able to stop us then."

"That is a great plan," I agreed. Right after we finished discussing our plan, Evulus came into the room.

"Oh goody! You are already up. Come come, it is time to get ready for the interviews!" He said as he clapped his hands and briskly led us away. I went to the same room where I first met Silviess, and she showed me my interview dress.

It was a beautiful shade of orange, like the sunset. It was strapless, and the top flaked down and molded into a lighter orange. It was short and airy, and flawless. I put on orange heels to go with it. Some of my hair went up in a bun on the top of my head, and the rest of my hair flowed down below. I looked in the mirror, and realized that I was born to wear this.

I soon met up with Cato. He was wearing a grey suit, and he looked great. We walked down to meet the other tributes in line for our turn. Glimmer was the first to go out. I caught a glimpse of her interview.

"Yes Caesar, I am very prepared." she said. I rolled my eyes. She finished and then it was Marvel's turn. His interview angle was to come across as goofy. As he walked out, I heard Caesar's voice, and the guards took me where I was to enter the stage.

"Up next is the lovely Clove Kentwell from District 2!" Caesar exclaimed. I took a deep breath and smiled as I took the stage. He shook my hand as we sat down in our chairs.

"So Clove, I saw that you got a 10 in training! How did that feel?" he asked. "Well Caesar, I was very happy, but not too surprised." I answered.

"Now Clove, it was quite the scene at the Reaping Day. Could you tell us about it?" he said. "Gladly." I replied. "I was going to volunteer, and when Annie tried, well I guess you could call that practice for the games."

"Ah, you are a clever one Miss Kentwell." he said. "I try." I answered back jokingly. "Don't you just love her?" he asked the audience. They clapped. He stood me up and raised my arm. "Clove of District 2!" he finished. I smiled and waved as I walked offstage.

Soon enough, Cato joined me, and we sat on a couch backstage. We watched the rest of the interviews. Soon enough it was Katniss' turn. She walked out onstage wearing a red dress. It was nothing special though. I had won. She looked so stupid out there. She was clearly scared of the crowd. I was about to get up, when she started to spin. Her dress had fire coming out of it. I glared and sat back down.

"She is so dead." I told myself. I kept repeating it in my head. Not to worry though. The games are tomorrow. We'll see what an 11 does against a knife thrown towards her head. I smiled at the thought as I headed back to my room and went to sleep.
