His Servant? (Sesshomaru x Reader)

I found myself lying down on the same comfortable mattress where Sesshomaru and I had professed our love to each other. I looked at my baby bump and blushed. Ha, just to think almost a year ago I was hating his guts and now I'm carrying his... our child. I smiled and rubbed my stomach. 

"Just a few more months, sweetheart. Thank you for keeping me safe as well." I giggled. 

Sesshomaru hasn't spoken to me in quite a bit of hours... He must be upset. 

I sighed, removed the covers and got out of the bed. "Whoa! You're growing quite fast, little one!" I said in shock, staring at the size of my baby bump. Just yesterday it was barely noticeable and only a day later, it's the size of an orange. "Slow down, mommy isn't ready for you yet."

"But hanyous and demons grow way faster than humans, Lady (y/n)." A voice said as light began peeping into the room.

"Oh! Mimiko, I didn't notice you there."

She giggled. "Well I came to help you since your leg may still not be fully healed, even at the assistance of your new child."

I looked down at my bandaged leg, "Yeah, you're probably right." 

"I cannot believe that actually happened though."

"I couldn't either... It was pretty scary to be honest but I knew Sesshomaru was smarter than Naraku and his silly games."

"True." Mimiko nodded and helped me to the bathroom. She helped me get undressed and helped me get into the tub. "If you need me just call. I'll be cleaning the south hall so I should be able to hear you."

"Yes, thank you."

"I'll be back to check on you in 10 minutes."

"Alright, and hey Mimiko." I began.

"Yes?

Then I thought for a moment, "Actually never mind..." I wanted to ask her of Sesshomaru's whereabouts but he would come for me if I needed him...

I sank lower into the water and closed my eyes, this was so relaxing! 

I then felt hands wrap around my body and my back was pressed against a hard, wet chest.
"Sesshomaru."

"How are you?"

"I'm doing better." Just then I felt a little push at my lower abdomen. "Ooh! It just kicked!" I smiled.

"Huh?" Sesshomaru was confused. I took his hand and put it to the next possibly sight, then, Boop! Another little kick. I could tell Sesshomaru was quite surprised and his mouth was slightly open. I giggled at his reaction.

"That's been happening for a little while. I actually enjoy the feeling... our child is showing me its presence." 

He barely smiled, his hand was still rubbing the bump. "I'm sorry for last night... Naraku tainted the sake and I let it get the best of me..." He said gently by my ear, giving me goosebumps.

"It's alright, my love. I'm just glad you're back to normal as well. Besides, I was protected by this little one. And you're to thank for that." I smiled, turned around to face him and put my hand on his cheek. "If the baby didn't have your genes, I might've not made it."

I couldn't tell if he was happy or mad about what I just said. His facial expression was as stoic as ever and he didn't even say anything. 

"Please. You have to understand that I'm alive now, and I'm very thankful for that. I love you. With my heart, Lord Sesshomaru." 

"I love you too." He leaned in and we kissed. It's funny how we both were naked and pressed against each other but it was totally normal. If this was a few months ago, I would've either been trying to pry him off of me, which was impossible or this kissing session would've turned into something even more. I giggled as he released from the kiss but still holding me in a hug.

"What's so funny?"

"Well, I was just thinking about how we've both matured."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well, look at our position and look at the way we act towards each other." 

"Ah that reminds me, your birthday present. Would you like to make love now as gift number one?"

"What!? No! Not while I'm pregnant!" 

He chuckled. "Then I'll save that for after the birth.... I wanted to take you out to a festival."

"The demon festival!? Absolutely not! They sacrifice humans there!"

"Not the demon festival. And they do not sacrifice humans, that's a silly rumour. We don't have time for that. But humans aren't welcome anyways."

"Oh." I rested my head on his chest.

"I was thinking of the couples festival. It's in two weeks and everyone is welcome."

"Really!?" I lifted my head in excitement and stared into his eyes.

"Yes but I'm only doing this for you."

"You're the best husband ever!"

We stayed in the bath for a little longer, holding each other in an embrace. 

Just to think... the great dog demon, Sesshomaru, is taking me to a festival... He truly has softened up.
