Wally raced into the Watch Tower with a limp Artemis in his arms. Dick stood when he saw them.

"Wally?" Dick asked concerned.

"She fainted. I called Jade and she's with the kids. Dick, do you know?" Wally asked.

"No. I don't. Get her to Dinah," Dick said. Wally nodded and carried Artemis into the infirmary. He laid her on the bed and she moaned.

"Artemis, can you hear me?" Wally said. He waited for her to turn her head towards him and open her eyes saying yes. Instead she stayed still, not making a sound.

Dinah arrived ten minutes afterward, a concerned look on her face. Barbara followed with tears still wet on her cheeks.

"What happened?" Dinah asked.

"I-I don't know. We were standing in the kitchen, and then she fainted. Right after she breastfed Alexis," Wally said taking Artemis's sweaty hand.

"She breastfed? That might be some of it. I'm going to do an x-ray. Something's fishing and I'm going to get to the bottom of it," Dinah said then placed her right hand on Artemis's forehead. "Her forehead's hot. Barbara, hand me that thermometer."

Barbara passed a thermometer that was wrapped in surgical wrap. Dinah quickly unwrapped it and placed it in Artemis's mouth.

"Hold this," she said to Wally. "I'm going to go get the X-ray machine ready. Barbara, start preparing a small dose of Anesthesia. I don't want her waking up during the X-ray." Then Dinah left for the x-ray machine.

Barbara nodded and left for the Anesthesia.

Soon, Dinah came back and Wally held out the thermometer. Dinah frowned. "105.5," Dinah said. She brought Artemis over to the X-ray. Barbara gave Artemis the medicine and turned on the machine. "It should be done in about 5 minutes."

10 minutes later...

Dinah brought out the X-ray and gasped.

"What?" Wally asked.

"Um.... This isn't good. Artemis has Cystic Fibrosis. She has mucus in her lungs," Dinah said.

"What?! How?" Wally asked.

"I don't know. It must have been because of the poison the doctor gave her."

"What does that mean?"

"It means I'll... Have to put her in a medically induced coma."

"No.... Not Artemis..... There's got to be another way."

"The poison has to work through her. The only way I can get the medicine out is through an induced coma."

"Please, don't do it... Please," Wally said and fell on his knees.
