My name is Jonathan, but you must know that by now. I am eight months older than Sara and nearly a year older than Ashley. I am taller than both of them, far taller than Ashley, who's the shortest of us three. Since no one has told you my team, I might as well do it myself. I have Lampent and Lairon, you already know that a presume. I also have Togetic, whom I nicknames Fly(never ask), a Dratini, a Crawdaunt and a shiny Skrelp, yes, shiny. His name is S, just saying.
I let them all out in the room, thankfully, Ashley's guest rooms are quite large, exactly for this purpose. "Go on, make yourselves at home, just don't... NINCADA GET OUT OF THERE!" I yelled at Ashley's Nincada who managed to somehow get on the bed without anyone realizing. I hear Ashley yell from her room. "So that's where she went!" I snap a sharp reply at her and I heard Sara chuckle in the room next to mine.
We weren't going to go to bed now, ah naw. Way too early, we are just placing our stuff in our room, I have no idea why Ashley was in her room, her stuff was already there. I heard a splash downstairs. "Damnit Arceus, how does she manage to move around the house so quickly?" I hear Ashley hiss.
I hear Sara going out of her room at the same time as Ashley.
"Was that your Nincada?"
"In the fish tank again..."
"She did that this morning didn't she?"
"Eyeah"
I step out of my room, interrupting the conversation. "So... what do we do now?" I asked.
Ashley looked at me with a mocked annoyed look. "First I have to get Nincada out of the fish tank, then I don't know, watch a movie?"
"Suits me, as long as its not a kid show or a romantic movie" I shrug
The movie we decided to watch was a historical movie, well, I mean, its based on history. I think it was some kind of Action-Adventure kind. It was medieval styled and talked about what I understood as the swords of legends, humans given the power of a legendary pokemon through the exposure to the sword. I had to admit, it was kind of interesting for a Historical movie, but seemed unrealistic, why would a legendary pokemon pass its power to a human?
Something moved at the corner of my eye, I dismissed it as one or our pokemons, there are at least 18 pokemon in the house at this moment. We kept talking about the movie, pointing out all the flaws and mistakes. Something moved again, near the same area, still in the corner of my eye. This time I looked, and I kind of wished I hadn't. It was a shape, that's all I can say, it was too dark outside to see it much. it hovered outside the window, it didn't seem to have an legs, none that I could see anyways, probably just the angle. I would of dismissed it for snow, if it didn't have a pair of ice blue, glowing eyes. It seemed to gaze at the direction of the stairs. Ashley and Sara where in an argument over if Palkia is better than Dialga in the movie, so they didn't notice I was looking away. The thing might of noticed me move, because its gaze soon met mine, it didn't seem evil, nor good for that matter... once it realized it had been seen it disappeared into thin air. I blinked a few times to make sure it wasn't my imagination.
I didn't talk to Sara and Ashley about it. No doubt they would have thought I was crazy. As we went to the stairs, I gazed down at the basement stairs, exactly where the shadow was looking.
"Hey Ashley?" I asked
"hm?"
"What is in your basement?"
Ashley seemed to hesitate. After a few seconds, she finally answered. "Just old mirrors, same old"
Just mirrors, JUST mirrors. Haven't you seen your behavior around mirrors lately Ashley? I held myself from making that reply. Now wasn't the time to discuss Ashley's mirror problem. And besides, we where all tired.
